Dragic and Adebayo were out in range finals as well and from this years ECF we can see that a team that Butler had to carry just isn’t a championship caliber team. Not trying to discredit that championship because all championships are decided by healthiness to a certain degree, but the narrative of “LeBron showed he can also win in the Wild West” is false simply because that western conference in 2020 isn’t anywhere near the western conference in any season of the 2010s.

@@josh_7569 all of them were bus drivers, unlike somebody i know who got swept in the first round playoffs this year... when lebron won his first 3 rings he always had 2 more all star players to help him, barkley and malone did not have that kind of help, only magic had a super team lebron failed against a dallas team that only had 1 all star player in that year, while miami had 3 all stars the hardest competition that lebron had was GSW with 4 all stars, but he had a 3 all star player team... dirk proved that even 1 all star can win against 3 all star so lebron should have no excuse losing to dallas (jason kidd was nowhere near his prime if you want to count him as another all star in dallas, being an all star player is not a lifetime achievement award, it is yearly, in that year only dirk made it from the dallas roster)

Won't have an asterisk cos even if lebron and AD are playing healthy, they won't be the favorite to beat Bucks, Celtics or even heat. They might not even beat the suns or the sixers. Lebron's win against gsw in 2016 was rigged. NBA is a business, and creating a second MJ is not easy. The NBA was trying to save Lebron's legacy. It's stupid to think even a fully healthy Cavs lineup could beat durant less GSW. Anyone knows about basketball and watch every minute of the 15 and 16 finals knew GSW was a much much much more dominant team than a healthy Cavs. Love was slow, and Kyries ISO play could not get the team anywhere. See how kyrie went to celtics, made it much worse, dumped it, and got swept by the Celtics even when playing with KD. Lebron's playing style is no match against GSWs ball movement.
