I like the classic key, utilitarian plastics, and rugged looks. Like you said It’s a truck not a Mercedes. Plus dealers usually give major discounts on these... don’t be stupid and pay 40K

I actually just bought this exact model yesterday. Mine came with stepboards although, I don't know why. I upgraded from a 2008 Ford 150 that had no special features. A CD player was as high tech as it got. I so far am loving it and my priced was around 35K. More than I thought I'd pay for any vehicle, but I always liked the look of the Colorado's and it's my first Chevy.

Yeah but I drive a 2009 tacoma 4 door with helo off road tires and it's been doing me so well. So yeah a colorado z71 midnight or most of all GMC Canyon denali would be my next midsize trucks to ever buy and daily drive.

Good review. 40K could have got you a full size truck but probably not the fuel economy of this mid size. I have the 2018 WT in kinetic blue and it is a sharp looking truck for 24K. It rides great and gets good gas milage. Way better than the F150 i had (not apples for apples comparison). If i did it again. I would have gotten the V6 because the 4 Cyl i have is really limited in the towning department. But I wouldn't buy the one in this video at that price. Thanks for your real review.

Yes i would and give it a cool custom paint job make it like my stereo blk and sliver with a 8inch lift kit and some really good fuled forged wheels even add some kc lights on the top now the motor would have to come out and put a small block chevy with some hooker headers but that just some idea i came up with

I tried to buy one today but have too much credit debt, tried trading my 2012 cruze they didn't want to give very much for it so walked away, and thats with a discount I get from being a john deere worker, still couldn't get the monthly price below 500 bucks. I make decent money but not enough for the amount of debt I got. Very disappointing kind of how out of date this truck feels, not keyless, interior needs a serious upgrade for the price they want. It should come with more bells and whistles for what they demand for this and I doubt this will last more than a few more years before they try to get rid of it. Still I test drived it and was very pleased how it handled, decent sound system, decent plug ins, though they wireless charger is pathetic cant even use it, feel it needs to be less plastic and more quality material, very silent, roomy for me I'm 5'7 so not bad. Overall a good truck I would like to own but damn they want a lot of money for a mid size truck that doesn't come with much modern stuff of today. Mostly I just like the idea of having my first 4 wheel drive truck that can handle the Iowa winters which can be quite rough, never owned a truck or drove a 4 wheel drive car in snow, and like having space to buy say a large tv, none of our vehicles can do that. Man wish they could have found a barely used one with what I want and had it today.

You have to understand the truck market this is not a luxury car. I got my 2019 LT v6 for 22k w 13k miles and 100k mile certified chevy warranty dont buy new. The price you're paying for is a Z71 4x4 off road truck with good performance you're not paying for the lights in the sunvisor or keyless start etc. I have a Tesla model 3 also so I know I get it in terms of the tech and extras but that is not what you're paying for in a truck.

My issue with the new Colorado’s is that with all of the technology in the big brother models, why isn’t there a power button for the rear slide window? Tacoma’s have the power rear sliding windows and I feel like GMC/Chevy dropped the ball with that. Also, the interior of these vehicles haven’t changed since their comeback in 2015. I drive a 2015 Colorado and love it, but I’ve been thinking about trading it in for either a silverado or f150.

My Colorado was $33 with full leather, 4x4 and a tonou cover brand new as well. There are some cheap sh*t things with these trucks but they do drive nice. Hopefully it last lol

I want a key. No girly pushstart. Thats a truck not a car. Easyer to steal with the pushstart. More Insurance want you to put a antiteft system $$$$ to protect it. You pay the system. I prefer a key. They still can steal it but it’s harder.

I agree with you. The plastic interior and the other stuff you mentioned are not worth $40 grand! It’s Bullshit!

Very disappointed with this interior and you sound like you were as well. And they want almost 40K for this! Nah playa!! I'll take the Tacoma or Ridgeline anyday.
