@davidjma7226
@davidjma7226 3 года назад
@@rosc7471 Both NZers and Aussies love each other really. But Kiwis come to Aus to work and are bl**dy good tradies and in the building trade chuck up scaffold faster and better than anyone else so the Aussies like to sling off at them about it. Since there are about 40m sheep in NZ and 4m people there the Aussies like to remind them of this and even suggest that maybe there is a unnatural relationship between the Kiwis as the sheep. Pure conjecture of course. There are no jokes about Aussies in NZ......they seem to rise above it all. Next time you fly from Australia to NZ, on approach to the airport you will hear 'baaa ....baaa'. That's the Aussies on the plane. The Kiwis get there own back by thrashing the Australian national teams in Rugby, Cricket, Netball and pretty much everything else in a regular basis. Except Aussie Rules. Only Australia plays that game. The clue is in the title. It's all friendly banter. Disclosure: I have lived in both countries for over 20 years 😉

There is added risk swimming close to sea lions here in California. Natural prey of great whites. They don't go looking for people usually. But if you're swimming with the seals, when the seals scatter, human's are left there like a clumsy candidate for natural selection. Or they make a test bite just to figure out what you are. A lady was hit not from here in 2003 taking her morning swim. It went pretty much as described. Great video as always.

We were doing a survey for trying to find the tallest tree in NSW. There's a stand of very tall trees up in a hidden valley at Mt. Warning in far north east NSW. Along with climbing these tall Eucalypts that were about 70 metres tall we had a drone with us. Drone got attacked by a Wedgey there too.

I had the fortune to dive with the water wolves as we called them a few times. Can be fun if they are feeling playful or curious. Any more, with the resurgence of their population in those areas the great whites have returned with the young and the orcas too. Not quite that adventurous anymore. So, did you find any abalone? Looked like lobster water too.

Differing times of year along rocky kelp filled bays, usually cliff surrounded along California. Seems the resurgence of sea lions and otters have brought the big fellas in. Sightings of juvenile whites has greatly increased and there are reports of more orca pods.
