If you have the time, I'd be REALLY interested to see more of your process! Like if you plan the cake out by drawing the design first on paper... using water colors on canvas to see if the colors and effects would be something you'd want... testing out your techniques on swatches of modeling chocolate... As a fellow artist, I'd really love to see that :)
@@molchmolchmolchmolchI agree. She’s said before something along the lines of before that she likes to play a lot of it by ear. Still-lives would make this easier, since the the colors and such are already decided for her with the object. This one is close to a still life since it’s based on a character designed by someone else already. She probably had pictures of the character on her computer or phone to look at. She’s also mentioned that though it doesn’t work for everyone, winging it and going with her gut it works the best for her. Those aren’t her exact words, but close to what she meant to say. Though, on her and her Husband’s TV show “Texas Cake House,” she does make sketches before hand. Thank might be worth the watch.
Her skills are just so inspiring. I can't even draw a stick figure yet, watching her videos, make me feel as if I could actually create this toad. When she cut the cake, the kid in me yelled noooooooo. I love her bubbly personality, she is truly a cake goddess.

Once,I was playing in my yard and saw a giant Toad and I was like "AHHHHHH SOMEONE HELP! THAT THING IS GONNA EAT ME"and went inside my house as fast as I can ever since that day I would still scream if I see a toad😓

Saw the thumbnail, and was like oh that looks the big frog in that one movie. I guess it is from that movie haha, just didn't remmber the name, but I watched it. Wasn't there a giant crab at the end too? Always so sad when you cut into them haha.
