Hi Katie! It's so nice that it has such a short jaunt to the beach. A street legal golf cart made it even better. Malibu definitely has some beautiful and special things about it.
love this thank you i knew about this sort of thing , i don't knock! if i could i would! instead i have a big ranch in texas, lots of horses and cows. i come here to get ideas from these houses to inspire me! show us more please its fascinating to me similar thoughts, lot of beautiful land w horses running around peace and quiet or a beautiful ocean view w a beautiful open house... great video
Ok so I'm on my 4th video of yours now. You have an amazing personality, and find the most fun things interesting so I subscribed. But about THIS video. I'm not surprised about the lot rent but given that they own the "building" the lot cost is a bit much really. Thanks for sharing. This was fun
The view is beautiful!!!! I've always wondered about what specifically the HOA covers at Point Dume Club because some of the lot rents are so high. I loved your cat litter box comment because that's what I thought when I saw the sand. 😺
Hi Jude M! Yes, no cats allowed in that sand feature! There is a community pool that is pretty decent and large, some tennis or basketball courts, I can't remember which one. Not a lot of amenities, but I will say the management there really keeps the grounds looking cleaning, green, and top notch compared to Paradise Cove.
Beautiful home - seemed like a decent deal for the location, except for that rent thing. Love your refreshing personality and spirit - you're a natural
Thank you for the nice compliment OMC24! It's really beautiful in Malibu, but SO expensive. A couple of years ago several of the homes in this community burned down from the Woolsey fire. So sad and scary too.
This just blew my mind. I live in Ohio so I have nvr heard of a manufactured home going for such prices. It was absolutely beautiful but I think I would rather own my land.
Even a paid off home isnt free... HOA, Taxes, Insurance, special assessments etc... Most folks stay in in their lane economically. Im guessing she is downsizing into a condo? My Hoa is $173, taxes $40/ mo. resort style pools, gym, covered parking and everything is walkable. Beach homes are not close to hospitals, grocery, shops etc... enjoy that $6.60 gallon of gas as well.
Hi Keith! This was her summer home. She is actually upsizing to an Arizona Mountain Home (cool summers for half the price) and leaving CA. Yep, gas was outrageously priced too!
That was filmed down PCH at the Sand Castle. We would watch them film in the middle 70s after school. The trailer was a dump inside. He would pretend to walk in it. Always blew my mind.
Hi Chris! Malibu is very beautiful, and the weather is fantastic! Cool and sunny, in the 60's and 70's while I was there. Some weird people, but that's everywhere; and really Expensive real estate prices. Yes, Lake Las Vegas does have it's charm. I hope it stays "Lake" Las Vegas and not "Dry Basin" Las Vegas one day!
Those prices are ridiculous 🤣 There are many other beautiful places to go at a fraction of the cost. I think before I would buy a manufactured home I would buy a nice motor home.
Hi Daniel, many are in the film industry in one form or another. Business owners, wealthy family's, etc. A good portion of these are just second homes and some of them live as close as Los Angeles but buy a second home out here in Malibu for the summer. There are some people that bought many decades ago that didn't have big flashy bank accounts when these were more affordable, but their retirements and Social Security today has to go towards their monthly lot rent they're finding it difficult.
Well that's wonderful my Mercedes convertible and my Rolls-Royce Silver Spur sedan in the carport of My Double Wide it's actually okay. I paid more for the cars than the property and the buildings however because I live in oh my God Alabama
