Welcome to Lake Las Vegas Life! On this channel, I'm going to talk about and SHOW you the Lake Las Vegas community, as well as the surrounding areas of Boulder City, Henderson, Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Strip, Lake Mead, and great day trips not too far away. I talk about tips, trips, recommendations, the positives, the negatives, and answer frequently asked questions I see about these areas on the web. I am NOT a Realtor, so I am not trying to sway you towards any one particular builder or community within the Lake Las Vegas area. I've lived in Las Vegas and currently in Henderson / Lake Las Vegas.
When i lived in Las Vegas, I used to drive almost every Saturday to Cottonwood Cove and go swimming. On the other dide of the official beach was snother brach. The Sand is Volcanic Sand. When I went, there was no entrance fee. Im surprised to see that. I would use the beach at the Motel. I would park my Truck, and det my Towel on the beach. I never briught anyone with me. I never told anybody about Cottonwood Cove Beach.
This is on par for most Caesar's Entertainment properties. Garbage, unmaintained rooms and some of the worst table game rules. Too much 6/5 blackjack and triple 0 roulette as well! Craps odds are bad too mostly unless they are in an area where they have competition.
hate bad elevators - once at Imperial Palace on New Years day it was impossible to get down to the lobby - even if i pressed up it was still full for half an hour... and you try to use the stairs and you get trapped in the hall
Used to stay at Harris forever 😆 not for a few years!!the rooms are alfal the bar people are so rude the few restaurants that have are ridiculous! Never again! Aquirous the best!!
i moved to henderson in 2003 from NC.a realtor asked me if i would like to see a condo at lakes next to the casino. i went out to look but being new to area i thought too much 2 soon so no, i bought a single story in hende that yr..
Ive been 2 laughlin many time i only styed harrah 1 time it sucked.. 2 far from rest o casinos i like pioneer suite riverside o edgewater loved belle when she was open
The North Tower is the Kids Tower. It's beat to hell and a lot more crowded because of it. I was a regular there from the mid 90's thru the early 2000s. I returned last year and was appalled to see it hadn't been renovated much since then. Shame, because back in the 90s, it was one of the best properties in Laughlin.
Well that's wonderful my Mercedes convertible and my Rolls-Royce Silver Spur sedan in the carport of My Double Wide it's actually okay. I paid more for the cars than the property and the buildings however because I live in oh my God Alabama
People with a little self esteem wouldn't like TSA agents (LA homeless and jobless before 911) running thru their bags and ordering them around in regular commercial flights. Normal people don't have human dignity in front of those agents. When give low lives a little power, they will use the little power in the fullest. Then JSX came and show us a little human dignity.
Thank you for this video. We visited Lake Las Vegas this past weekend and it was wonderful. Your recommendation for Sonrisa Restaurant was perfect. We had dinner there twice. Thank you again😊
Wow what a dump Stayed there many times when it was newer 20 dollars a night. Riveroom. You got smoked. 20 dollar rooms. No one at pool or beach ever. Its a ghostown. 110 degrees at that. Nothing beautiful about Laughlin.
We went to another dim sum place in town yesterday and Orchid Gardens is by far better than Yum Cha. Food comes out in carts which is the traditional method, hot and fresh. Prices seem to be lower, but servings are 3 pieces instead of 4. Going back there soon. 😊. If you don't go around lunchtime, you avoid the 10-30 minute wait sometimes. Cookie with no fortune means they wish you all the best. 😆
Fourth of July weekend in Laughlin is always the busiest time because of the events on the river, specifically the firework display, which is downright amazing. That’s why your room was so much. I stayed there a bunch of times, never on fourth of July weekend, and I’ve never paid more than $50 a night.
Never stay in the North Tower elevator is always rediculous. We usually stay in central tower. We use to get free rooms or $10 rooms and my kids and I loved the beach. Lately I never get good rates and now there is resort fee. Haven't stayed since covid
