@@sydguitar99as a scorer he shoots better but at the rim it’s similar and bam clears as a playmaker… if bam was a 4th option getting mismatches all the time he’d score more and even without that their ppg is similar
Fully Healthy Bam is a Generational Switchable Defender, with High IQ Play making ability, and is a servicable Offensive Hub within the arc. With his size, agility, and strength to not only guard 1-5, but also mismatch against most players in all 5 positions. You can put Bam in almost any system and thrive. If Bam was a more capable 3pt shooter, his offensive game would leap. KP is THE stretch big with his ability to sharpshoot from far beyond the 3pt line. Hes the Top Post-Up Player with an ungaurdable midrange shot in mismatches. And he is a crazy vertical Lob Threat because hes athletic enough to jump and reach lobs higher than most bigs. KP is a great paint protector in a drop coverage and can occasionally switch but isnt the most switchable defender. As a Celtics Fan, Player for player, im picking Bam. What Bam gives you Defensively is far greater than what KP gives defensively. And even though KP surpasses bam Offensively, its not by that wide of a margin as to make up for the difference they have defensivley.🤷🏾♂️ BUT IT IS A CONVERSATION
The only thing Bam does better is rebound, this is absolutely laughable that you think Bams a better player 🤣. KP’s lightyears ahead of him offensively AND he’s a better rim protector.
@@BobRoss-wm3lc Dont get me wrong, i prefer KP as aplayer to be on my team. I love KP. I just think its a discussion where Bam edges out KP slightly. Bam in his best year is giving you 20/9/3 with a steal and a block a games on 54% from the field (doesnt shoot many 3s so the percentage is skewed to be higher). And Lock Down Defense/ switchability KP on his best year giving you like 23/8/2 with 0.7 steals and 2 blocks a game on 50% from the field. Along with elite rim protection. KP is a better scorer and can do it in more ways, but still is only barley higher than Bam production wise. And i think Bam can just defender more positions 1-5 better than KP can which is why i gave the nod to bam.
0:12 so this is obviously talking about if KP’s fully healthy. You’re an absolute fool if you think Bams better than KP 🤣. KP’s light years ahead of him offensively and he’s a better rim protector than Bam. The only thing Bam does better than him is rebound and throw dirty cheap shots at players.
These are the best conversations ESPN does not know how to create good sports conversations like RU-vid podcasts. I’m surprised ESPN execs are not stealing ideas from you guys. Not to say, I’m endorsing you guys is content being stolen, but come on out the ideas y’all come up with I’d rather watch this than ESPN any day
@@BobRoss-wm3lcbro you don’t know hoops at all. Bam carries more responsibility on both sides of ball than KP ever could. And don’t get it twisted the Celtics would trade for Bam a dump KP in a heart beat put bread on that.
@@SneakerGod22 What? 🤣 Porzingis is a better offensive player better shot blocker spaces the floor more, has a plus minus of +417, while Bams was +50. Porzingis is basically un-guard-able 🤣. The only reason anyone would take Bam is because of KPs health concerns. Guys nickname is the unicorn, what’s Bams nickname other than dirtbag cheap shot artist??
@@BobRoss-wm3lc those metrics are deceiving because the Celtics were already a great defensive team without KP so he is benefiting greatly from that. You are dick eating crazy the Celtics basically won the ring without him so I don’t know what you are arguing for 😂😂 player for player Bam is better only Celtics disagree.
Bahaha ok dude from Florida. Bam would be nothing if he wasn’t good at rebounding. Oh yea and he throws dirty cheap shots, ask the Knicks Sixers and Celtics about him.
@@BobRoss-wm3lc been watching him since his Knicks day baby bro. He's good don't get it fucced up. But we talking about this year wemby is better offense then KP. Wemby gave you 20 a game wit 2 blocks and steals all around a better fuccin player. So let's stop bro again thats gonna be wemby worse stats this upcoming year is gonna be his break out year so let's stop it bro you obviously haven't watched wemby play. KP you can't trust him to stay on the court soooo🤣🤣.
@@user-xd7hi4vg2y no I have and Wembys really good but KP puts up numbers just like that when healthy. We’ll see how Wemby holds up healthwise. Dudes that big usually have injury problems.
@@javongreen8492 yes, the Celtics pretty much won a title without him. If the best ability is availability how could KP be ahead of some of these guys? The Celtics were good before he got there and would be fine if he left as long as they replace him with a rim protector….. Bam? How is that even a debate Do the heat get to even the conference finals without bam? They Picked KP over established healthy multiple time all stars. Only people that are debatable imo are Lauri and Chet, and by next year I think they will both be better then KP, they are just young and haven’t proved enough yet but in terms of fit you can plug Lauri any where on any team and that’s not the case with KP we saw it didn’t work with the Mavs and the wizards were bad with him. And Chet is more talented overall in my opinion
Rudy gobert is a complete 0 On offense. He can’t even catch the ball consistently lol what are we doing here? Can punish mismatches? Pretty much only scores off lobs. Completely ass on offense
