At 2:50 the center handled server is the depression glass pattern, "Early American Rock Crystal" made by McKee in the 1920s, 1930s. The pattern was relatively early. And that was their amber. You called it a tidbit tray.

Back in the 60s and 70s my family and I would eat at the Peter Pan Inn in Urbana, MD. Food and atmosphere was amazing. The Kapok Tree Inn in Florida was the exact same. The Peter Pan closed permanently in 2011. I still have a couple of their hurricane drink glasses. Those wee dishes may have a little value, but are probably souvenir pieces.

I love those large coffee cups! I have a couple Pioneer Woman that hold 24oz. But when I go to the Dr. I can truthfully say I only have one cup a day.

It would have been WAAAY out of your comfort zone to pick up but there was a Monster High doll around the :45 mark. I know some of them can sell for quite a bit.

I’m new here. Enjoying your videos. I love your laugh as it reminds me of a dear friends laugh who moved away. So that makes me smile. I’m sorry you’ve been sick but glad you are better. I’ve watched many videos like yours and I’m always curious - do you have to be extremely careful with peeling off the packing tape not to peel off paint? No one ever mentions it so I’m assuming it must not be too harmful to the products for resale. Your Goodwill is huge. I’ve never been in one that large. So nice

FORGIVE THE CHIP! we as humans aren't perfect either! Also it throws us dogs some bones on things we might not be able to afford so we don't mind a chip or two it's doable! Here in Oklahoma we don't get a lot of good stuff here away from the big cities.

13:10 - some of those midcentury warming trays (there's one under that wood salad bowl) are desirable; I've seen some of the Saltons with teak handles go for a fair bit.

I'm not surprised you're confused about the candle/was holder. I think they taped the two pieces together with the top on the bottom. I think you put a candle in the part that has cutouts for oxygen for the candle. Then you put the bowl on top with wax melts

I came here to say exactly this. You could see the blackening on the bottom. Massage therapists sometimes use these to keep their oil warm.

I think the best thing thrifted beside the Asian bowl, was the fun and colorful artwork of flowers for Juliett's room; I bet she will love it. pickins were slim, but you made out ok., on to the next one.

Pretty sure that the green glued bowl is Viking. Also pretty sure that the value is around the 30, 35 dollar range. The value of the platter is let's say 20, 30 dollars. Now add it all together and sum equals one dumb apple person that should not be allowed on Pinterest.

15:30 Looks Japanese and early mid C, probably left over factory styling from the late Nippon era. You can usually date by the type of porcelain - pasty is better, shiny/glossy is younger - by the style of decoration and by wear on the foot. Gilding around the foot rim usually means it is not that old. Hand decorated. Be interesting to see how well it does. :-)

That vanessa mikasa pattern china you’re seeing I had just about every piece from 1984. At that time we paid $1000-2K for a 12 place settings and all the extras. So so sad its basically worthless….I thought it was so pretty. I love purple. I had 12 flatware set and serving all the of glasses. My heart skip a beat when you looked it up……

It opened as the Medtart Inn in 1796; the Peter Pan name began in 1926, so a 50th anniversary piece is bicentennial-worthy. 07:40 It's a tchotchke box, for whatever. My parents had one that was made from a printer's typecase. 08:05 I think it's an aroma diffuser; possibly a tea-light holder. 16:45 Don't. Soy candles are VERY inferior to beeswax or paraffin candles, for all that they're ubiquitous due to cost or environmental concerns.

If you spray water on the back of a canvas with small dents on it, it usually will tighten as it dries and straighten out the dents.

The dog figurine at 15:43 may be made from a combination of crushed oyster shells and clay. I have a small collection (6) of the elephants. I believe many were made in the Philippines as souvenirs.

The Peter Pan Inn is south of Frederick MD in Urbana MD. It's a restaurant that has been around I believe since the 1950s but I think it is closed now. Was a very fancy restaurant. I have eaten there several times and my younger years. I was at Thurmont Goodwill last week and after I picked up several things that seemed familiar to me I then realized that you had been there the week before and picked up those same items but put them back. I had to laugh 😁👍

Today i went to an estate sale with tons of glass and dishware! I was so excited because I was able to recognize the different types of glass and explain the history of Japan pieces to my friend.
