I would love to see you guys review the trend towards the "easy-to-ship" casper, helix, bear beds, and how the lack of a spring factors into their quality or lack thereof. I can't shake the feeling Casper does what it does for ease of shipping rather than comfort...
WOW that is so cheap looking. I am thinking of getting a sealy posturepedic summer resort ultra plush, any advice? This is gentle used mattress. I am trying to at least FIND a pictures of the inside of this mattress.
@@bedsbydesign6131 2 years later.. How about cutting open a serta beautyrest black luxury firm Lydia? It's a few years old now- should be enough around. I'm planning to do surgery on my own and would like to see what kind of layers it uses before getting in there.
1:45 Perfect slip of the tongue there; "We then put, erm, or they put a piece of convoluted there" Someone should bring this video to the attention of Sealy, so they can pursue libel / defamation against the video creator. Clearly its a fake video.
why he is trying to give you a better clue as to what your getting rather than getting bent over buying a mattress that you are not told what is really inside! Thank you I hope more understood the meaning was not the cost of the bed but the quality
What do you think matresses cost? They expensive man! Go lay on a 500 dollar matress and then go lay on a 3000 dollar one. No contest night and day difference. Not to mention what one will sag more over 10 years. You already know that answer. Oh and go find me a Hybrid matress for 500 bucks. I don't think a 8000 or 12000 dollar matress is that much nicer then a 3000 dollar one. But a 3000 dollar one is way way nicer then a 500 dollar one. Again no comparison. The average priced matress today in ANY general matress store is around 2500 to 3500. Simple as that. Yeah they expensive for people like myself that are general factory workers but it is what it is. I'm not sleeping on a cheap 500 dollar matress. They are trash.
Ha ha ha ha ha. Oh wow. Yeah, sorry to tell you man, but that bed was never $3,600. Ashley Thorner voiced her knowledge already. Someone lied to you. That garbage is probably worth $850 on a good day (if the boxspring is included & queen sized). Way to make people think they can get a quality product for so little cost. There are beds starting around $1350(with boxspring) that are going to last 4x as long. Good day to you.
We build all the components on location so what is normally sold in a furniture store for 1000 dollars we can do for 100-200. She was definitely lied to and very unfortunate that name brand company change the names of the beds so you can't shop and compare.
Yes, although I think Hästens makes some overrated products. They use a small amount of filling material in the comfort layers. They do add a pillow top, but that saves them from having to place the same amount of filling on both sides of the mattress. I personally believe the British still make the best mattresses. That being said I think Vispring is also overrated. You can get similar or better mattresses from Hypnos, Relyon or Harrison Spinks. Savoir is a small atelier, so I don’t consider them a real player in the bedding industry.
@@arlofs*topper. How do you know that Hästens uses less horsetail hair on their fillings? Vispring is a heavy-ass bed. For what they represent as a Firm, “on top” feeling beds, I actually prefer their entry-level or midrange models which are plusher and more enveloping. Savoir does really have very few Showrooms around the world, a very exclusive club indeed. It helps their production to maximize the output and less if any, compromise. Have you heard of Elite mattresses from Switzerland? And Nilson beds from 🇳🇱
@@hastensavoir7782 Hastens or Vispring are superior to Elite or Nilson. Hastens beds are just as heavy as Vispring. Hastens isn't willing to disclose GSM, but there was a video on youtube where a guy opened the zipper in the back of a Hastens bed and revealed the amount of horsehair - it wasn't very impressive at all.
@@bedsbydesign6131 Seems like you jumped a little quick this doesn't even look like a real bad from one of their lines this looks like a fake and you made a whole video about it trying to defemate them Iona sealy 1 of the best beds I've ever had the only truth you're exposing is what a crappy RU-vid channel you have.
It doesnt cost that much for that bed also it does have what it states latex and memory foam does it not could you also do a tear down on a matress from your own company and prices and you will also see spring units in Sealy compared to other company's are larger and go to the edge where as many other brands have around 3 inches of soft foam around the edge could your company not sell enough beds without trying to bad name other brands
the best mattress like finding the best strain of weed...depends on who you are but 4 punds square inch is firm for heavy people small people may like plush
This whole video is suspect Trashing Sealy does not make them look bad under this questionable skit. It only makes me wonder why you are trying so hard to trash them. If your mattresses are well made and reasonably priced that would be enough to help your reputation. I guess my gut feeling is there is more to this story other than a suspected Sealy mattress is over priced and made horribly wrong. I wonder if someone haphazardly put it together and put a Sealy tag on it. Ask Sealy about this. They should be notified.
