No, not at all. We all have muscles underneath :). If you practice this 3 times a week for 1 month you will start to strengthen your muscles and see the movement . Keep going - don’t give up.
fatima mustafa commit every day for 5 minutes and you’ll see improvements quickly within 3 months. It’s a muscle, the more you exercise it the quicker you’ll see the results. If you do it once a week for 5 minutes it could be 3 months - 2 years.

I can isolate pulling in but I don't quite get how to isolate popping out...any tips?
Yes, it’s the hardest part. The key is relaxing on the way out. Sounds easy but the hardest thing to do. Keep trying the pops in an out to get the abdominal wall used to it.
