WoW Classic Hardcore moments you would NOT want to experience yourself 

Watching hc deaths really opened my eyes up... these are probably the people I've pugged raids with over the past years and now it all makes sense.

That rogue in the arena knew 100% what he was doing. His intent was never to kill that druid, he just wanted to scare the living shit out of him. Which he did.

This just convinces me that if Sword Art Online actually happened none of them would be walking out alive.

Doing the hardcore challenge has been really eye opening. I didn't realise the average wow player is actually a rock sitting behind a computer.

The13:00 hunter clip in particular hurt on a spiritual level - dude didn't wingclip either of them, used his mana potion instead of his health pot, and turned on Monkey despite running away with his back turned instead of strafing. Like watching a flaming dumpster roll down hill, go under a ladder and pass by a black cat.

Ive learned more about how to play classic in the last week than I have in the last 3 years thanks to these clips 😂

1:40 The druid clearly stops and heals in order to hopefully pull aggro from any player that moves slower than him. He however did not have enough mana enough to shapeshift again, he died a hero and you laugh at him.

At 15:33...that poor warlock had no chance...lol...and it was in that moment he knew he f**ked up.

I'm a bit rusty on the recollection regarding classic, but isn't it so, that when Morgraine gets summoned, any mobs within a certain radius of him that hasn't been killed, is automatically called to the fight? My memory seems to remember we painstakingly cleared all the mobs around Whitemane and then tanked her and Morgraine right at the altar and not by those doors. So not only did the grp do stupid, they did stupid twice, or was just plain lazy not clearing the trash mobs. Also, seems a lot of these deaths in HC are players being overconfident or not focused enough.

06:25 let me just clarify here. that there are 2!!! classes. the hunter. and. the huntard. hunters are by far the best class. able to pick up the slack for most classes in an entire group. huntards are by far the worst class. main ability is using multi shot during a precision pull. or jumping off a ledge while having the pet up.

What's crazy is the guy at 13:00 has the sticky glue from that Echo Isles quest on his bars and he didn't use it at all. Could have trapped the full hp one and killed the other while running.

wow hc is the best content ive seen in years for wow. Funny how this is the setting the actually make players work together a care about the game.

Hardcore shows clearly that higher stakes makes it more interesting. The funny thing is, WoW was widely considered a carebear MMO when it came out because there was no penalty for death other than running back and repairs. Every other MMO until that point had XP loss on death, which could represent hours of grinding lost. Most MMO players today would call that a stupid mechanic that just wastes your time, without understanding what it added to the experience.

Have to ask: how do you get the key to the last part of black rock depths in hardcore? It needs you to interact with the questgiver that is visible only while dead, right?

Almost everyone who dies in these clips is also a clicker, kinda goes hand in hand

Popping Mark of the Wild to try to save yourself at 1 hit from death is peak "Monitor-Off" gameplay.

The pally fall death was lvl 20 mounted which is WoTlk. That bubble was the 50% tank ability, divine shield is 34. How ever he should have had Hand of Protection which does work IIRC

A good skill to learn while running away is to time the mob's attacks and jump-face them when their auto attack is back up then spin back around and keep running. Can't get dazed this way and can also dodge/parry.

I was under the impression that EVERYONE knew to tank the mograine fight after the trash is cleared and inside the cathedral itself. I havent seen folks do that dumb shit since 2005 or so

i hate to be "that guy" but you can tell which of these "hardcore" players never played OG original wow. no nameplates, no LoS on mobs but will LoS the healer, panicking, skipping mobs that aggro to the boss if you engage without clearing, dying because you dont want to "waste" potions and bandages

I understand *leveling* in Hardcore, but *endgame* in Hardcore? It doesn't make any sense. You'll never get any gear, or anything noteworthy without dying. That's like wanting to become a chess grandmaster without ever losing a chess match.

this why why pally is so giga. With BoS, BoP, and divine shield every couple of mins you can just make 3 people immune to damge in hardcore its inane.
