end of expansion? this is a classic teir list not WOTLK or retail....

Every class is only good 1v1 man, the fights lasts for max 20s in vanilla. Also if Rogue opens with sap he can eventually kill 1v2 but thats what mage can do with sheep, warlock with fear, hunter with trap etc.

Maybe also specify that it's for duels and not bgs (the official pvp mode).

Disc priests were strong in Burning Crusade, not so much in Classic. In BC you'd basically just kill yourself by attacking a disc priest.

I mained disc back in vanilla and I was the tankiest one in bgs, putting out enough damage to wear people down, healing to keep people around me alive, and mana burn to destroy any casters. A shrewd player with a geared disc spec is probably top tier for one v one.

​@@yewknight Yea disc (or just a non-shadow priest pvp spec) imo, would be higher than SP... maybe even nr1. Mana burn is nuts. Then about rogues, with all cds, even preparation, rogue is def S tier. Problem for them in this tournament format, the duels will take place (if I am not mistaken) with a timespan between a duel shorter than 5 minutes. 2 minutes even. If it goes smoothly of course. This means not even a vanish every duel. This would put them lower, A tier even top B. Other classes don't rely as much on cds as rogues. Same for frost mages. No ice block vs lock or SP = toast. Retri should be higher than warrior but meh. Warriors with nutty gear and skilled play were dangerous too. It would be such a shame if there would not be any disc/holy priest competing in the tournament.

shadowpriests are an absolute pain in the *** They're the best 1v1 class and it as far as I know its also backed by statistics.
