@@PULAG well my guild is runing holy pala in all groups in speedruns, its literally a must. We are server first and world rank 18 speedrun. Dont worry, palas are great ;)
Thank you for this guide. I feel like if I was playing any other class/spec, the slime would be my favorite fight ever, but it's so frustrating to play as Holy
Dude.. what a genius. I totally forgot about the AP buff from Crusader, + the benefits of using horn on myself for AP on Sheath. Massive help, I’ll test this tomorrow. What would you say though about speccing into Improved Might and then using divine storm on the chest instead, for the small instant off heal to party members? Thank you again dude, great guide.
Hey man, thanks a lot for the feedback! Yea i usualy take divine storm, and improved might, we need dmg in speedruns anyway, and we have enough paladins that i dont need to use horn, since we have enough palas to buff everything.
I love your guides man! keep it up. Not many Hpallies in youtube so its cool to check for things i may not know. In regards of Zockify i think is generated with IA thats why sometimes info is not deep enough explained. I would like to know how do u handle those fights where is a lot of movement. Are u on full dispell duty? It seems to be the most efficient way to aproach those fights. But feels bad to not heal as the other classes do, while moving.
Hey there! Thanks a lot for the comment and nice word, really appreciate it! About those fights its mostly about getting used to the pattern of the fight, positioning, and stuff like that, im still learning myself to be honest, but when you learn everything, its a lot easyer. For example on the sludge boss thingie, you can preposition to the right, if you get poison you clense imidiately, and you can proc your sheath of light on the objects, no need to hit the boss. Move back while there is no dmg, so you dont have to move when there is, and you just stand and spam stuff.
Hahaha thanks man, well they had like 3 months to learn, and still nothing, i swear it seems they are not even playing the class, just randomly writing shit ahahah
@@Ekyfoll no, thank you! I'm trolling an Hpally to help the guild out and I've been consuming as much Hpally content as I can't but was looking at talents and runes and felt all the guides were off. I speculated more or less what you cover in your guide so it's awesome to see it works in practice.
Since we got so much spell crit & mana regen through runes, gear, buffs, SoM in raids/groups and consumes now - do you think mp5 stat on gear is irrelevant?
Hey there! Yea we have a lot of mana regen now, so the mp5 is less desirable, but in speedruns it will still be nice, since you will nog drink most of the time, and it will help. But for normal raids yea you can drop food for example, for something else, but options are not good atm. Strenght only comes at level 54, and stamina and spirit are worse anyway. for gear it mostly comes on healing gear so you will have to grab some anyway
Great info in the guide overal 👌. I only dont really agree with 5 points into divine strenght and not taking lasting judgement. Unless you somehow have 4 palas in your raid you cant keep up your judgements without it. Divine strenght is just way to minor to justify it.
So if I understand (english not my first language), doing Seal of the crusader boost your holy power to cast healing spell? Option 1, do I need to be always on "attack mode" to get the boost from seal of crusader or, option 2, I can just do one hit, get the boost from the seal and from the sheeth of light, keep spamming the seal when it goes off and get a little bit in the back after that? Option 3, if I just cast seal of the crusader without attacking, do I get the healing boost? Thanks for the guide! Very useful and helpful!
Hey bro, Seal of the Crusader will increase your Melee attack power, and 30% of that attack power goes to your healing since you use Sheath Of Light rune. You have to hit something, and you will get the buff, for 1 minute. So basicly you just need to hit the boss once every minute to refresh it, and you need to have crusader up at that time. I hope you understand, if not feel free to ask more! Cheers!
Do you use anything like sixty-upgrades or pawn that you use to compare gear when it's a close call? Going crazy over what pieces to use and the stat weights.
Yea i tried but their stat weigths are bad as default most of the time, so i didnt like it. I just go with what i think is best, but most of the BIS lists are ok, on zockify, and even on WoWhead, but mostly you will go for crit, healing power, intelect.
For SoM's mana regen: the tool tip says it returns mana equal to % of the damage the paladin takes from the seal. The rune is slotted, but I stuck to crusader. Details shows the mana regen from SoM, 1.8k on rotslime, so is this bugged?
It is not bugged since details show mana return from other paladins, and they will do more dmg and more mana return to you :D Its raid wide mana return
you use crusader on the fights? Why not SoM? Is someone else doing it for the mana regen? Does it not stack with multiple paladins? Also, why horn over might?
You use wisdom since you have it upgraded, others will use might on you, so you will have both, horn is just for single player or group play, since you can have both then. Crusader will give you troughput, anything else wont, and you have ret and prot to buff those
@@CheekyHaggis yea i would use storm for more dps, just keep in mind you have to have might from other paladins, and its not allways possible, since you would want blessing of light too, so keep that in mind
Hahaha you are definately able to smash, can switch weapons in combat, so you can use shield and one hand to cast avengers shield, then switch to 2hand for divine storm, and stuff like that, its pretty nice tbh, and your survivability is insane.
Mostly yes because the mana regen is so insane now, but you can downrank if you feel like it. Most of the time i had plenty of mana to work with so i pumped max
