Been using TSM on retail for several years, I am so happy to use it in Classic where I have realy enjoyed and utilized your early coverage on set up and tips. Thank you!
This has been really helpful.... I got to 60G at lvl 39 on my warlock, but now I'm starting over on a new PVP server and want to follow this. Earned yourself a sub :)
Wow Sam!!! Classic really is giving you so much more viewers it seems! Great to see you aboard for a new adventure! It's been really some new crazy fun times, hope you do enjoy yourself! All the best from an old fan (herthaspt)
One other thing, how do you get so many sniper items? I've set mine to vendorsell -1c but I sit there for 30 minutes on my realm and there's maybe an item every 4-5 minutes. 90% of the time I click it immediately and get the error that it can't be found. Is my sniper just slow?
It's mainly down to luck and timing and dependent on your server. I think 4-5 minutes is reasonable, others may be using a macro to press the buy quicker. I only recently learned that myself.
Great video! A tip is also to learn the few spells you need at your "main" capital as you usually have a higher reputation here and can buy cheaper spells.
Dude, thank you so much for the info on TSM. I just started my Classic adventure and I am running a lvl 10 alt aswell and the tips you give are VERY useful! I just subscribed and gonna watch even more vids on your channel, thanks man!
@@zman1672 they´re applicable to a point, the general guide is applicable, telling you how to use TSM and what each setting does after you understand how to use TSM u´re gonna search for some strings, or even better, learn to write them yourself (strings such as what he wrote in the TSM earlier - vendorsell 28c for example) edit: strings for wow classic, retail version strings are unapplicable in the classic version, sice there´s much less gold
Yes, my TSM beginners guide goes through the principles. However, we are currently limited with how many sources we have access to right now, especially historical data. ru-vid.com/group/PLG8qo-Ls_-9Yy_gM2j5ASyDBBnIVregnP
I seriously made close to 5g in two hours of skinning other people's mobs on day 4 in the barrens. Not bad for a short play session on DAY 4! I've since moved on, but I'm feeling pretty good about that extra bit of gold giving me a boost. I'm getting close to 15g now, but I'm also tailor/enchant so I've not sold any cloth or green items. I doubt I'll be able to make that much later on with much fewer people doing those quests at one time.
Frostadamus has a video on another "linen bag" type vendor idea with nightscape headbands He mentioned if you could get a stack of thick leather for less than 1g20s.. You could convert these into headbands and vendor them. Keep in mind these take like a minute per to craft but you could run this overnight and vendor or DE them as you please. Wicked leather headband might be one to look into or the runecloth belt, black mageweave headband, shoulders for more DE ideas...
There are plenty of these "deals" with different mats. I use to earn 300-500g/day on making Netherweave bags in TBC just by buying everything of AH, making the bags and selling... and that just one thing I did to make gold :D
@SamadanPlaysWow question for you. When I use the Shopping -> Disenchant Search and it gives me those percentages on the side - do I want the lower or higher percentages to buyout?
thanks for the videos! your not just great to listen to but i'm learning how to do what i have never been good at.. great explanations! I think you said this in an earlier video but does Auctioneer and TSM play nice together?
I tried using google translate, but could not quite understand your question. I'd like to help if you can explain a little more? Я пытался использовать Google Translate, но не мог понять ваш вопрос. Я хотел бы помочь, если вы можете объяснить немного больше?
Hey Samadan! I have a quick question. Why do you make the math manually? Isn't what you're doing what the TSM's proffesion interface shows you in profit? Just wondering. TY for your videos and happy goldmaking!
Hi, Samadan new sub here, great content mate! I'm guessing you're a master in the art of the AH! I have Auctionator and TSM running and looking an disenchant values and i have a problem for instance if i have a 100% chance to get small radiant shard... Auctionator tells me the correct AH price at the time of 2g 50s but TSM tooltip tells me it sells for 3g58s :/ i must be doing something glaringly wrong (im a TSM novice btw and studying your videos for help) keep up the good work mate!
It's not you, I hear that different addons are using different tables for disenchant data. Unfortunately none of them are 100% accurate. Also factor in they each have their own price sources and methods for averaging the data, prices will be different. Best bet is get a feel for prices on your server over time. The more you do it the more familiar you will be.
@@SamadanPlaysWoW I appreciate your reply! Before buying to disenchant I've cross referenced all possible outcomes and been doing ok buying rares and making good silver or even gold off the shards 👍🏻
Thanks for video helps a lot ... only .. how do you get the items prices to show in that window that opens when you hover over item ?? i dont see any prices anywhere but in TSM and i dont see how to get those to show ..... if that make sense
I will go further in depth into TSM for Classic as the addon evolves. Premium I look at as a way to support the developer primarily. The only extra is the Great Deals search in Retail and I rarely use that. They provide everything in the free version.
ok, so I have setup a sniper operation using your guide and run it, yet nothing EVER shows up on the TSM sniper window yet if I switch over to the wow UI, all kinds of goodies are shown..so any ideas on what the deal is with the TSM sniper window?
I do snipping when i can't take leveling anymore. Just 30 minutes to an hour, making some silver and I'm ready to get back to the leveling. I'm up to 8g from a 1 silver start. So I'm a little proud of myself. With the bid snipping, is there anyway to see how much time is left? Right now it just shows item, ilvl, posts, stack, seller, bid, buyout, %. Is there anyway to, i guess, change the operation to only show bids that are short? Right now, I've been using the default AH because TSM doesn't show how much time is left for snipping bids. Another gold saving idea, is to only buy the spells/skills you need while leveling. Almost every WoWhead class leveling guide has a section dedicated to this. ;)
In TSM, is there a way to set minimum post price to the last purchased price? E.g. if I buy A Sword for cheap for 50s, then want to post it again - to prevent it from being posted under 50s, but anything above would get posted?
I cant so /tsm Scan, IT just says IT fails around 21% scanned, or IT simply crashes wow... How do i get auctionator data into tsm? Do i use auctionator or auctioneer data, and if so, how do i do that?
If you hold your mouse over certain items a vendor sells, you can notice that the average market price could be like 150g. Obviously, this is flawed because people have inflated this item in the auction house. In reality, the vendor could be selling it for a silver. The point is to fool people. Some peoe have snipers running that check the average prices and then do a similar calculation that you do. If someone is sitting there waiting, and they see you post your item for 50g, but their tsm is reporting the inflated price of 150, it will seem like a really good deal for the person sniping and they will quickly impulse buy it.
if i already have a traditional sniper operation set up as my default, how do i set up a vendor sniper also? when i run buyout sniper it goes by the traditional sniper rules (70% atrvalue)?
@@SamadanPlaysWoW god i'm an idiot - i didn't even think of that! thank you very much. i love your content! hopefully they bring out tsm fully for classic so we don't have to use auctioneer as a work around for values etc. that would be nice wouldn't it!
Samadan can you please make a video on how to setup a disenchant search guide i just did one and it said item disenchant value was 1g 35s but it was more like 9s for the material. Can you assist on making a video please we would appreciate it thanks alot
Forgot to ask. Is there a macro to double click for sniper buyout? Anytime I see a good deal it gets snagged within a second. Doesn't even give me enough time to click buyout.
yes there is one. u have to click the auction and then the button ( i use f2 ). its faster then click buyout. if you want this just tell me,i will post is then.
hey really sad i do all what you to on your other video now i see i can scann the AH for items already insite the ah but if i want to scann he say ( no knowing AuctionDB-scan-data.. i dont can scan :(
Yes, levelling is good. This is an alternative to get you started with a bit extra in your pocket and useful as you level in terms of putting things on the AH
So if I run a bid scan and just bid on things, will it TSM tell me when I’ve been outbid and allow me to bid again? Or do I have to go into the native client under “bids” and do it manually from there?
This info is great. My guild has an Alliance alt guild on your server so I can be pretty sure I won't be making much money on there. My Horde char thanks you though
I also love just browsing through the classicdb professions page as they have in my opinion the best and easiest way to look through and visually see how many materials it will take to make each item on the right. Moreover, there is a tiny search bar in the middle of the screen that allows you to search within tailoring for example for certain recipes. Here is the link for tailoring.. A lot of hidden gems in there too! classicdb.ch/?spells=11.197#0+7+1 Also if your interested in DE mats.. Just clicking on an item.. Will most likely have a tab that says DE into... This will show you the percentage breakdown of what that item will DE into.. Moreover, you can click on the specific DE material.. Say dream dust and go to the comments tab.. There are always helpful comments of people that have shared their favorite grinding spots to get DE mats or what items they found best to craft and DE for this resource!
@@SamadanPlaysWoWHonestly I have no idea what this person is talking about. I had no trouble hearing you. You were clear and concise and now that I notice the music it does not seem out of place at all. Thank you for the video.
@@SamadanPlaysWoW Update i made about 3 gold in hour and a half . Its not a killer way to make gold but i love it! I you never know what's going to pop up that's exciting . I had someone post plate armor for 13s and I sold to the vendor for 67s also level 40ish blue posted for 1g sold it to the vendor for 1g 36s.
Studen is doing pretty good! I have been trying to level a mage as aoe as well (from what i've seen it's how he makes his gold), but it's hard, people are always farming the mobs. Servers are really full hehe. But it's really nice to see, the world is alive again!!!!
