Professions can make you some quick gold in Classic WoW, but to really get the most out of them you'll need to learn about cooldowns. Twitter - / signsofkelani Patreon - / signsofkelani Discord - / discord
So far skinning + leatherworking has made bank for us, especially the refined deeprock salt cooldown. Cooldowns are going to be huge in general for the first few weeks just because everyone will want to get their hands on the bis crafted gear. I think we’ll see prices fall slowly going forward, with the potential for a spike as the vast majority of players hit max level. By then everyone will have more gold to spend, which usually means higher prices anyway. I’m looking forward to seeing just how much gold we can make with cooldowns alone, it’s been crazy so far!
Man I thought I was on too something at launch with the bronze leggings even did all the math working how much copper and tin cost relative to the legs😂😂. Seems everyone knew it already
Arcanite bar are 34 g on my server and materials needed are about 30g. So about 4 g profit on that cool down. Essence of fire are 5 g while essence or earth is selling for 15 g. So transmute fire to earth is what I'm using my cd on
if light leather is cheaper than about 30c per on the auction house, you can make an item to vendor with leatherworking that will get you about 32c per leather. I've made a bit of quick gold just buying light leather and flipping it via LW to a vendor.
I've found enchanting has been incredibly and incalculably expensive since I turned so many items into shards that I mostly just consume to level my enchanting. I made a few silver early on from greater magic essences that were less than 14.8s on the AH turning into greater magic vendor wands. Tailoring has also been very expensive, as I'm not selling my cloth and even at times buying them. The one saving grace is that some of the patterns that you get from random vendors around the world can yield a profit. There was a level 28 cowl which I could sell on the ah for 80s-1g each when the mats came to about 40s at most on the ah. That's a good margin, but it's still going to take quite a few sales to cover my other costs from leveling tailoring so far. Im also behind the crowd as far as leveling, sitting at 38 with professions sitting at around 180.
@@uirl it depends on your realm.. my realm dont buy those stuff.. been selling for days.. even put nightfin soup in AH for 50 silver for 20 pcs.. and no one buys them
Selling heavy cloak for the quest on alliance has been good for be. No one buying potions or food yet. Enchanting is pretty good Making bags is a loss. Engineering could be good because hunters are buying scopes, also quest items. Bronze tube and gyro can be cheap right now. Sometimes people sell power cores cheap
I suggest also making a DE alt and funneling things you get in the open world from your main. The only thing I find truly grueling is the hour long wait for mail on same account between toons. 30min wait would have been fine. An hour is a bit meh. But I get it, more time to wait means more time spent on a different toon which means more addicted gameplay. Still a cheap tactic no matter the genius behind it. Lol
My server, and probably most of the highly populated servers as well, has an absolutely trash economy due to an overwhelming supply of everything. Leather - thanks to everyone thinking they'd skin their way to an epic mount - is going for below vendor price. Also it's not the best idea to just take any gathering professions. Take skinning and *either* mining or herbing as you can only track one of the latter two at any one time.
@@roscostewart2712 That sounds amazing! Layering (Layer jumping) and the countless other bugs and exploits the game was released with was what made me cancel my subscription within the 1st few weeks. Now, do you have any proof of those bans ur talking about, or are you simply basing ur statement on what a random GM wrote on the forums and a few photoshopped images? I mean, if players were actually banned there would be a huge whine on the forums with threads "I'm banned, but I didn't do anything!" and so on.. But there's nothing but silience, so I doubt anythings been done or will be done towards those who ruin Classic WoW....
There should always be a market for free action potions, as long as the AH isn't completely saturated with them. Also greater fire protection potions should be pretty popular when more people start raiding.
Selling the firefin and oily raw fish mats which are high demand for alchemy. Also, the salvage/ship wreck ponds are nice. Also fishing levels with cooking and people do buy the food with the stat buff. Also keep in mind the season we are in and go focus ur fishing on those raw fish mats
Your 100% mount, Bags, pattern, mats for patterns, your spells at your trainer and your spellbooks when they wikl be available, materials for leveling up a profession faster than farming it yourself, Boe items that are an upgrade, elemental resist gear when needed (fire for mc or nature for AQ) enchant from other players, your daily potions/food for raiding or any single consumable needed, etc...
I just picked professions i wanted and made gold off of it .... Worked i had the gold needed for lvl 40 mount by the time i hit 39 and didn't have to use exploit to do it
