We all know the writings on a bathroom wall. Now we will write some real WOW and OMG facts from Norway. Some are so gross and forbidden, it can only be shared in a private sphere. Welcome to a good old Toilet talk. In this video you will learn about old Norwegian words being used frequently today all over the world. One is actually banned! Norwegians are skeptical towards new things. So, you won’t believe what Norway has made illegal during recent times. This will fast become a lmao moment. Then we will visit a state in the US that is very important in our language and culture. In Norway it translates to crazy. Totally crazy. Then there is a surprise about number 2 children activity in Norway. We promise it will sound sour and annoying. In the end we have both an OMG, WOW and SCREAM fact that will send a chill down your spine and make you run. Its about Norway’s biggest export article through time. And its not what you think it is.
We can promise you some real strange and cringe worthy moments where Mads is playing on an instrument, Ronald is trying to kill an animal. It will b e funny too, when a hand bag shows up in the bathroom, clips from old age Norwegian discussion about TV and and a far away state.
As always, a satiric and self-deprecating YOURWAY2NORWAY video, made by Mads Nilsson and Ronald Sagatun
:).
"Helt Texas", "Matpakke - you're not supposed to look forward to your lunch". We have a shop with clothes and stuff with different quotes from our videos printed on them; It takes a lot of time to create this videos and we want to do it full time, so you would support us buying something here: teespring.com/... Thx :)
Maybe you have descended from Norway yourself and are interested in your ancestors and how they live now? Warning: This is NOT a typical we love Norway channel. There are plenty of them. We want to add a slightly different but humorous picture of Norway
Follow Us and Engage! We have a Facebook page, called Yourway2Norway. Comments from Our Cool and Inspiring Subscribers - all Over the World - is the Reason We Keep Making New Videos from Norway. Thanks a lot to All of You.
This Channel gives you Facts and New Perspectives one of The Richest Country in the World, Norway. According to the UN it’s also the best Nation to live and grow old in. Is it really?
Ronald, the Guide, will take you behind the Picturesque Norway, showing you a Different and more Fun Side of this Scandinavian Country. Because he is half Sami, partly Chilean and Italian with a Norwegian Passport. Best from yourway2norway, Ronald and Mads :)

Love your videos! I'm half Norwegian. My great grandmother Inga Pederson emigrated from Norway around 1910 at 14 years old. She used to ski to get her mail, was the hardest working woman I've ever known, best cook in the world, and lived to the age of 102. Her mind was as sharp as a tack until about 95. The first sign of any memory issues was when she forgot she salted the soup and we had very salty soup that night 😀

Tor from Nor More to the point - flight of the manufacturers and highly paid jobs. At least that’s the Cleveland version of the story. Of course it would help if we had winning sports teams. Look how much money LeBron and the Indians have pumped into downtown. There was a reason his insanely large poster of him with outstretched arms in Public Square looked like it should have an altar. Our Good Friday was when he left for Miami and our Easter when he returned. He’s ascended now to California but it’s ok because for a brief while we were champions. We still have the Browns.

We don't really use the words "Florida Man" as a term of expression (althoughwe probably should), but anytime there is ever a story on the news about something very odd or just downright crazy, people almost expect it to be from Florida or for the headline to be "Florida Man *did such & such*". Other countries used in "American" english : "Going Dutch" means splitting the bill 50/50, "Dutch Courage" means cowardly or you're only brave when you're drunk, "Scotch" means frugal or cheap and "Turning Japanese" means one is turning gay. We also use the expression, "It's all Greek to me" which means you can't understand someone or something as though the other person was speaking a foreign language. "Pardon my French" you say before or after you use a swear word, "Mexican standoff" means when 2 groups of people can't agree upon what to do next, "Chinese whispers" refers to information that came from gossip or isn't true, and "a Young Turk" is a wild person sort of like how Norwegians use Texas. That's all I can think of...

I remember people saying "you have to go clear to Timbuktu" or "we live so far out in the country, the nearest hospital is in Timbuktu" - meaning an overlong distance. (I'm in the USA). There's another expression I learned when I moved to New York: "going by way of Canarsie", meaning going the long way around. Canarsie is a neighborhood in Brooklyn. Why that expression, I have no clue. But I know what it means. Love the idea of equating Texas with wild and crazy. :D Ahaha - the marching band drawing. At first I thought you were drawing bar stools. Well, of course, the 2nd favorite pastime is drinking! But, nope, looks like...fishing!. Nope...submarining? Well, there are all those offshore rigs, so maybe. Ah, marching band - of course! :D LOL - up to the end, I thought you were going to say Norway's biggest export was water. But, yes, the rats. I live in Scarborough in the UK. For some reason Norwegian children's marching bands have been coming here every summer for years. They march around the streets of the town centre in their beautiful national dress playing their instruments rather well. Perhaps only the best get to come here. It's a little taste of Norway for us. Cheers Norwegian parents!

Love that sweater. Weird illegal things? For a long time, the US banned Kinder Eggs - the little chocolate eggs with prizes in them? Those. I'm from Texas (native born). That phrase seems appropriate. Texas can be pretty crazy. You should read about Governor Edmund Davis. That's... a ride. Also, the end of this video was funny.

Wisconsin .. and we also celebrate May 17, with parades .. they close main streets for a massive parade .. and beauty pageants "Queen Contests" and lefse and flat bread and rommegrot. The women dress in Bunad and the men in red vests and black pants with high socks .. and yes, we also have high school choral concert at that time and I was in choir and know Ja, vi elsker dette landet by memory since childhood. Yes, my grandparents and parents spoke fluent Norwegian and my neighbors, Norwegian was their preferred language, and still is .. English only used occasionally in a few homes. When I grew up here in Wisconsin, the name of church I attended was Norwegian Lutheran. My Grandmother on my Dad's side was from Skreia, she came over on sailing ship as young girl .. long ago. All of my other Grandparents were born here in USA, but their parents all came from Norway. Some from Telemark region. My last name .. Olson. thanks for great videos .. ta det med ro.

I don't remember anything about Texas in Poland, but the exclamations "ale Sajgon!"
