I remember my cousin got this album when we were like 12 for Christmas, and I listened to it with him and fell in love. Such a great album to this day.
So this song is about a guy who feels guilty from getting a girl from the Internet off over the phone. I'm guessing she's vulnerable (maggots[him] pray upon the living dead[her]) and he's guilty about taking advantage of her.

Was odd going and seeing this band live - the wouldn’t play this song and max refused to preform it several times as well as banning of the song the song from live performances after 2k18 And now say anything is retired. I think the idea is he finds the whole thing ridiculous. I don't know if you listen to their other stuff but this song is very typical in it's theme and overall meant to be ironic. He is not lying when he says he finds the girl attractive and what not but is tormented by the idea of what they do because he finds it sad. That's just my outlook.
