WoW is Now Political.. Blizzard has has decided to add politics into their game with a new cash shop item and it's confusing... Twitter: / itsvaulty Subscribe for more WoW videos! :)
I swear, man complains that people took his video ideas, so he copies every generic vid title, thumbnail, even the topics he chooses have been done to death, so hes probaly just parroting points other creators have made before and calling them his thoughts.
I’m less worried about Blizzard taking a political stance and more worried that what blizzard is doing by subsidizing their tax payment by donating a portion of their profits. This isn’t really about helping Ukraine it’s about paying less in taxes by putting it on the consumer. Yes I realize this happens quite often. But it doesn’t mean I have to like it.
Giving money to ukraine isn’t really helping Ukraine??? Okay gothchaa lmao people find a way to hate on everything blizz even when there being charitable
Are they donating any amount of their money, though? I don't think so. When they collected funds for some tournaments - when people donated enough money, Blizzard went and said "oh, very good, now we don't even need to put our own share of funds, as you donated even more than that!". Why would they do otherwise in this case?
@@roygalaasen most of the people that live there are victims of Putin just like the Ukrainians are. They don’t have any control over the war and they’re suffering because of it.
I get where you're coming from but both countries have their share of corruption and issues, not to mention the fact that the war is nothing new and has been going on for years. The invasion is just a newer development. Israel and Palestine could also be seen as war-torn given their long-standing conflicts. Picking a side only serves to fuel mainstream propaganda that tells partial truths and creates a slanted narrative. It's easy to believe anything if you only hear one side of the story. Everyday Russian people for example have received abuse in response to an invasion they themselves had no part of, much like Chinese and Asians when the pandemic started.
If money really went to those people that would be most awesome. But... we all know that blizz has become one of those greedy gaming companies who kicks out their workers just to save money. Considering how greedy they are i believe that they are doing this to avoid paying portion of the taxes. They give less than they would pay in taxes and at the same time they advertise this as some sort of act of pure good will.
Well vaulty. Victims of war being helped is political now? Victims of an agressive invasion? I liked your videos, but what you said here sounds like playing both sides in a question, where there is clarly a good and evil side. Please delete this and apologise, cause this might not have been your intention, but this vid sounds this way.
That's not what he's saying at all though. Why are there so many brainlets incapable of understanding nuance. The only issue here is blizzard is hypocritical, when they banned people for their free hong kong protests.
bruh.... activision/blizzard has filled their games with varying degrees of political crap since blackrock started forcing their d.e.i bullshit down the throats of consumers
To think trade chat trolls and even some guildies didn't fill enough of the game with real-world politics most normal players don't play the game for. The only politics that matter in WoW are Bronzebeard, Wrynn, Thrall, the Dwarven Senate, Hellscream, factions, etc. Although supporting refugees of war in general is a worthy cause even with the nuance of both Russia and Ukraine having good and bad people and politicians, I am so sick of nationalist/partisan polarization infecting just about everyone these days. I also personally don't care about the pets anyway because I rarely buy cosmetics.
WoW has been political tho??? Kinda hard to make a game about kingdoms and wars and to not include politics that even mirror our real world politics to some extent.
This is not about politics, it's about saving peoples lives and helping to those in need.Genocide against Ukrainians is real, whole cities are destroyed by russian shellings, people lost their homes and if anyone can help, we will be grateful. I'm happy that Blizzard are on the right side, the side of humanity, and I hope at last, world will see who is the real enemy of amankind.
But Bobby newer donate to something except a new yacht for himself, lol. Of course for them, that's political. Of course Blizzard want more money and good reputation. And i hope that this money REALLY for Ukraine (and not to someone's pocket). But it's not about politics for us here. It's not about side of conflict, or any political shit like that. We need money to literally just survive as a country. Sry for my bad english (hope it's not so bad, lol).
I wouldn’t say “political”? I think it kind of like an charity thing like how twitch would have a charity to donate money to ukrain and I’m sure this is the same reason for that.
@@ЮрийДжиндоев isnt that the point of a "charity" yall acting like yall never streamed for charity from twitch lmao! i guess doing all charity is considered politic...
What is political in choosing between good and bad? There are many who claim that they are on the side of Ukraine blah blah blah but in reality....Unsuscribing, i dont like this . Big unlike!!! !
It's about humanity, the fight for survival. What politics do you see here? You can be an intelligent, successful guy, but with morality you are at the lowest level. The same with emotional intelligence.
They should worry 😟 about USA 🇺🇸 starving people 🙄 and homeless and outer problems 🙄 before try to put on a cape and help them out I don't think many people play wow there we do and should benefit from them here in u.s.a 😢😢ugh SMH
The only thing they could've done to make this better is like the orange county choppers. Make two pets, one for Russia and one for Ukraine and battle it out. Winner gets all proceeds.
Cuntic should definitely top it up with 100 times the sales, but he is a filth of the human race, so no high expectation from him. As for this being political...every charity or involvement in a campaign can be viewed as political. Instead, a company should have the freedom to promote values, if WoW players from both factions can dungeon together, the company can frame itself as pro-cooperation / anti-war, which would make sense with this campaign. P.S. They still have alot to answer for, for their employee abuse and harassment.
Blizzard constantly also tries to force you to change your name if you have "Trump" in it. Friend of mine has been forced to name change 3 times for the name "Trumptrain", "Trumptrainin", "Trumptraining". And yes, he just barely changed them every time to be a smart ass. . . Now, him and I both think Trump was an idiot. The name is a joke. But prettttty fucked up force someone to change their name for having a referencing to a Politian that they don't like. Trying to snuff out a name of only certain politians, seemssss pretty political to meee blizzarddd
I remember the Blitzchung incident. Blizzard was absolutely in the right there. The rules existed to protect the tournament, and Blitzchung tried to destroy it.
No. He spoke out for freedom. If you lived in an oppressed society where you couldn’t believe in certain things openly and you would literally be stalked and lose your job and maybe be thrown in jail. When you finally got the chance to speak up about it wouldn’t you do it ?
