I FIND THE LYRIC OF THE SONG, TO UNDERSTAND THE FEELING OF THE SONG UNTIL I MET YOU I didn't know about sadness, I didn't know about tears, or anything That would make me cry I knew about affection, tenderness, Because ever since I was little, That's what my mother taught me, That's what my mother taught me That and so much more I never suffered I never cried I was so happy My life was great My life was so different, something beautiful, something divine Full of happiness I knew only about joy, about the beauty of life, But not about loneliness, But not about loneliness and so many other things too I never suffered, I never cried, I was so happy....My life was great Until I...met you, I started to see life with pain I was happy, I'm not lying Even though with so little love, And I realized too late, That I shouldn't have loved you, Because now I think about you More than yesterday, so much more I never suffered, I never cried, I was so happy... But I found you Now I want you to tell me If meeting you was worth it or not Because I don't believe you anymore And you were so bad Yes, you were so bad with me That's why I don't want you I never want to see you
@Adrián Durán Realmente el jamás admitió ser gay... el mundo lo dio por hecho... pero si... fue un verdadero genio. lml He never really admitted being gay ... the world took it for granted ... but yes ... he was a true genius. lml
I saw the episodios of his life and his mom did not love him ever bc the only times she thought of him as a child where only harsh times bc his dad left bc he was mentaly ill or maybe also bc he was gay tho or maybe both
He said his mother taught him and showed him a life of love and happiness... And that was all he knew... "Until i met you"... Thats what the song is about
@@carolasaguilar5749 estudié, joven, estudié para cuando le pregunten donde verga está parado no le termine contestando pura pendejada. No debe ni saber lo que es el latín ni que tiene que ver con su propio idioma.
I'll try to explain this song: So when he was very little, his mom left. He was too young to remember. So he was raised by a lady who "adopted" him and his siblings. He actually called her "mom" for all his young life. He also talked a lot about his sister being like a mother to him. But when he was gaining popularity, his real mother came back looking for him. And exolained everything to him, but just for her personal interests. So, him, never being able to know his real mother, he was thrilled and tried to bring her back into his life. But as you can guess, things didnt work out and the real mother ended up being mean to him and just taking advantage of him. So he wrote this song to her. The first part talks about the woman who took him in, and how much love she gave him. The second part talks about him meeting his real mother and being disappointed. The last part is him mocking his real mom and being happy cause he will never see her again, he is basicaly telling her "get out of my life". Thats why you can sense different feelings in the song. Kind of a mexican Bohemian Rapsody. Thanks for reading everything and sorry for the misspellings. English is not my first language.
I met him in an airport once. He and his entourage were half way to his gate. My cousin and I yelled his name. He actually turned around and walked back to us!!! I would have been satisfied with a wave but he actually walked back and talked to us and signed an autograph. Wow...so classy!
The emotions in his songs speaks to the heart of people no matter what their culture are, by the way I think he is not just a Mexican icon, but a latinoamerican icon too, he was incredibly.
First of all, I would like to deeply apologize to people who might be offended by the comparison I am going to make (at no time is my intention). but I do it with the idea that you understand the value that Juan Gabriel has in Latin America. To my humble opinion, Juanga (as he is affectionately told), is like the Fredie Mercury of us Hispanics. composer, singer-songwriter, arranger, musician and primarily a very controversial artist because many people wanted to obscure his career inventing bad things, one of them his sexual preference. In the end, his great talent predominates, which is the most important thing. VIVA JUANGA
@Giovanna R. As I said. I don't mean to offend anybody, but I think you're so right. He can be both english artist. Even bigger than they can be toghether. What I want to say is that, even dead he still moves hearts with his voice and personality
@@abimaelmarquez3931 yeah but not even close, Juan Gabriel is bigger than those guys mentioned period. They are the Juan Gabriels of their repective fans.
As I said it and I repeat it, everyone is right. I understand it as you do, but not an north american . you should recognize that at least I had the courage to try to explain to a North American the value that Juan Gabriel has in Latin America. I say it most of all for those who criticize without reading well what one says, at least maybe they don't feel so alone. Well, you're welcome
@@tammylovesmakeup Spanish, Mexican, Cuban, Colombian, Chinese, French, etc. they are all different nationalities, Juan Gabriela was Mexican. In Mexico people are not cataloged by their ethnicity or their skin color
Leon Robotico México 🇲🇽 has a variety of mixes from European to Arabs or Jews, however, the majority of the population is a mix of indigenous and Spaniard. Look at the majority of the DNA made to Mexicans are of this trait
I lost it when you said "until he met this woman." He was so talented that eventually people in Mexico, which is a very macho culture, simply stopped caring that he was obviously gay.
I grew up listening to this cause of my parents. His music is catchy but until I got older I paid attention to his music and realized the genius he was. Anyone can relate to his music .
He sings the song softly at first because he is explaining in the song that he was akways in a moment of peace with himself and his family mom dad etc. Everything in his life was beautiful and he never felt feelings of great suffering, pain, loneliness, sarrow or despair (: Then the song starts too intensify as soon as he mentions the person who he met that brought pain, suffering, torment into his life and he eventually had he too get rid of that person from his life or world (: And that mainly what the song is about but performed perfectly by a very great singer of Latin and Mexican music (: One of the true GOATS of it (: His voice and delivery is really amazing (:
3:41 Audience say: "Ole!" then he begin to show his feathers and then say "Don't provoke me!" and back to composure but at 5:12 we lost him... he was extremely shameless gay and we loved it...
AMAZING artist...Juan Gabriel...!!!! He was ...he is and he Will be the BEST mexican singer ...!!!! I miss him !!! I LOVE him !!!! Thanks for your reaction ..!!!!! From Argentina......

His mom abandoned him in an orphanage. The song is dedicated to his mom and that’s why is titled: “Until I met you” . The lyric is so beautiful and painful at the same time.
el mexicano logrando lo imposible musicalmente mezclando todo tipo de musica desde mariachi hasta guitarras electricas con gran distor. pero nada supera la voz y energia del maestro juanga
Hi! I’m Guatemalan but Juan Gabriel is a big part of our Latino culture from Mexico, and many of us really appreciate your reaction to our music, and the respect and enjoyment you show to it. Unfortunately JG passed away a few years ago. He was one of THE BEST. He was very flamboyant in his presentations and that made him unique. Thank you!
I love your reaction, thank you for apreciet our music. Juan Gabriel was one icono of México. What I like of this song is the aragement the orcheter and of curse the mariachi band.
I am very glad that you listened to the one and only JUAN GABRIEL. The best singer, songwriter and showman in Mexico. Thank you!! ❤️ Greetings from México.
Juan Gabriel is the most famous most recognized singer/songwriter from Mexico. Sadly he passed too soon, but he is a staple in Mexican & Latin American music. Often composing for other famous artists. Juan Gabriel had a very sad childhood being abandoned by his mother because of financial difficulty. He was self tought in music and singing. He had a very difficult life always being hurt and abandoned by those he love the most, primarily his mother. When he reached success he opened an orphanage where not only the children would have a place to live and eat but also built a school to teach them music and other trades. He gave so much to orphan and poor children maybe because he knew the pain of being abandoned. school and music school. He had a heart of gold. Thank you for highlighting his music.
He was born in mexico, he wrote way OVER 500 SONGS, i LOVE his VOICE, i LOVE ALL of his SONGS, he was a SUPER "Mr. Diva", LOL, i LIKE his sweet luscious sexy lips even though i KNOW he was ATTRACTED to men, haha, AND he WAS SO REAL, REAL EXTREMELY TALENTED. :-) "Hasta Que Te Conoci" (spanish) = "Until I Met You", "vi la Vida con Dolor" (spanish) = "i saw Life with Pain"... I THANK GOD i got to see him LIVE IN SanAntonio, TX, i think it was three Or four years right BEFORE he passed away, the hispanic Community LOST a SUPER TALENTED MUSICIAN WITH a LOVELY SINGING VOICE, he PUT ALL of his SOUL AND HEART INTO ALL of his SONGS, And he REALLY LOVED SINGING, DANCING AND PERFORMING For us. :-(
It was amazing to see him live in concert. He was a true performer, composer & artistic genius. He was also a very generous, humble person who never forgot his roots. We met him back stage and even though he must have been tired, he greeted everyone with humility and affection. Rest in power Juan Gabriel- gone too soon maestro!
Un Saludo Desde Cacun México! Una canción Una relación que fue hermosa Y se transforma en lo más horrible Y el sale transformado y valiente de esa situación
I was at his 25th anniversary concert. The more you applauded, the more the concert went on. Juan Gabriel was an amazing singer, song writer and kind person. RIP. We love you Juanga

Thank you for your reaction😊, he was one of the best singers in Mexico. You should react to “Abrazame muy fuerte” live in Bellas Artes that song is deep🥺
addicted to watching these because listening to juan gabriel for the first time is an EXPERIENCE.......my dad always said this song was his magnum opus and i agree
I heard that he wrote the song to his mother who abandoned him as an infant, by the lyrics it can be interpreted that he refers to a woman he met and fell in love with. At least that's what I thought, most people think that's what the meaning of that song is, but recently I found out that it wasn't. Nice reaction. Cheers from LA
I don’t know how I ended up here, but as a Hispanic girl who grew up with Juan Gabriel cause my mom LOVES him in present tense cause even though he passed away she still loves him. The man was an amazing singer/ songwriter/performer. There is so much context that if u didn’t grow w/ him in ur household u may b missing but I love to see fist time reactions from ppl who would never otherwise be exposed to him.
Juan Gabriel siempre va a ser mi artista favorito, las canciones que escribía desde el fondo de su ser, la manera tan única y hermosa de interpretarlas... lo amo y yo creo que todos los mexicanos crecimos con su música🥰💗
listening to this song is like going intto the wash machine going trough all the cycles of emotions and at the end come out clean with new energy happy or satisfied
India so glad you reviewed Juan Gabriel my favorite singer. You ever get time review “Amor Eterno” I can’t listen to it, I breakdown every time. It’s about his Mom an all Mom’s that passed away....You’re Awesome India God Bless you.
