I live in a quad-plex in Minneapolis--Friday, half of it was lost to a fire, the rest of us are hoping the building doesn't get condemned. I've lost damn near everything to a house-fire almost 20 years ago--I know it's silly AF, but I *needed* this victory tonight, to pull this week into Not Sucking territory. Thanks be to this team for bucking every damn "Minnesota Teams Can't/Don't/Won't" narrative to the curb. EVERY COURT IS HOME COURT! AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Watched your whole show tonight’s and will watch as many podcasts as I can all night long! As a 54 year old, lifelong Timberwolves fan, it brought tears to my eyes tonight. I remember the excitement when MN was awarded the expansion team, looking at who they might get in the expansion draft and winning their first game ever behind Lowe, Mitchell and Campbell. We’ve come a long way and the Wolves have a TEAM that believes in each other and have a star to lead them. Edwards is a great talent and a great teammate. Hoping they win it all for Conley.

Can't believe I'm crying right now. After all those years of suffering it feels like we finally have a team we can be proud of. Ant and KAT are forever going to be Minnesota sports legends, regardless of what happens next. But it feels like we actually have a real shot at the finals.

I grew up in the KG era and was a pretty big fan until around 2008. After that I stopped paying as much attention, but would still try to catch a game or two with Love and Rubio. Then they became totally unwatchable and I checked out because I couldn’t handle another Minnesota franchise negatively affecting my mental state. Ant brought me back the minute we drafted him and now I’m once again proud to say I’m a Wolves fan. You could call me a fair weather fan and I wouldn’t even be offended. But the feeling that I had last night was not a feeling that a fair weather fan would have - that was a feeling of utter bliss brought on by 20 years of being ashamed to call yourself a Timberwolves fan

Consider it's game 7, going into enemy territory, dethroning the champs, with a chance to go to the Western conference finals for the first time in 20 years , on KGs bday. It felt bad when they were down. Stuff wasn't working, weird whistles, nuggets were making shots.... but they had determination, KAT was not sweating it, Nuggets shots stopped falling, and they got better and better and better until the end.

Im 55, and this is my 6th favorite Minnesota pro sports moment. Game 7 of both Works series 1 and 2, the winning game of 87 ALCS is 3rd. Minneapolis Miracle 4th. Wolves game 7 2004, and tonight!! I was 100% die hard on football before anything else, but over time as I got older got into everything else… From watching Moss and Culpepper with my dad, to playing hockey and just deciding Minnesota Wild because Minnesota as well as moving to Dallas as a kid briefly watching the Stars play the Wild once, then watching Mavericks with Dirk play Timberwolves one time, and then finally getting into baseball in high school and deciding Twins because it’s Minnesota… Granted I am only 23 but it’s been rare to see any Minnesota team do much from what I’ve seen. This is the first time since Favre (and maybe Twins last season a little bit) where I legitimately think this team can do something. It was always hard to TRULY get into basketball even though I always loved watching it because Wolves were always dogshit. Now it’s exciting. I’ve never really had a ball in a playoff series in my lifetime and it’s crazy. I’m stoked and Edwards has the greatest mindset I’ve ever seen in any player in any sport outside of maybe Tom Brady and Michael Jordan. It is a winner’s mindset, a mindset of “fuck yeah I am the best tell me I’m wrong” while also being genuine and real. It’s why I think Caleb Williams is a bust because he just gives me Cam Newton vibes. Edwards is a special player and athlete and person… not to mention one bad ass motherfucker!!! I will continue to speak negatively about games because they’ve won the past two games while doing so. My superstitious ass always does that. But that being said Imma say fuck it right now… Wolves in 6… Celtics in 5… Timberwolves vs Celtics in the championship with Wolves winning in 7.

Naz did plenty of work while he was in the game. So despite a stinker from NAW, and a sub-par game from ANT, we still had enough to beat the defending NBA Champ's on their home court. GO WOLVES! We can beat anybody if we play our game.

I would argue Game 2 was a tone settings game. No Gobert, lotta fans and pundits thought it was a wrap, and they walked in to Ball Arena and humiliated the Nuggets. KAT and Naz stepped up big time to fill Gobert's shoes. I'd never seen anything like it. Nuggets and their fans just out played and out coached. And that's what threw the door wide open for the Wolves to take the series.
