I cannot believe he was eliminated. I’m gobsmacked. I hope that someone in the music industry has heard his sensational voice and flown him straight to Nashville. He is a natural born storyteller and a country star. I’m sure we will hear him on the radio soon!
You must not have seen Faith's performance. When he said "I knew as soon as she opened her mouth I was done for" was very accurate for him to say. Yes he was amazing, there's no denying that, but it's a competition and Faith blew him out of the water. I recommend watching her story, it's journey 217.
A great example of an artist’s ability to affect you without any bells or whistles. His voice gives goosebumps. He’s a gifted storyteller. I also wish he’d been able to pick another coach.
If Keith was his coach he would have made it through. I look at who would be the whole package for someone like this and he is a winner. To me he should have gone all the way to the top.
I'm surprised they didn't all turn their chairs when he first started singing. His voice is incredible. He's cute with a great voice and seems like a really good person. So sad about his mom. Keith was so funny. "He's terrified now".
Your voice is just so rich and absolutely timeless. I could listen to that voice all day long. I'm in the USA but man I gotta say THE VOICE AUSTRALIA has some crazy crazy good talent on it!!!

They are all good. But for me, from the very first note, it was always Finnian. He has... that special something that grabs your heart and soul and you want more of it. He is truly special. Wishing them all the best.

100% agreed! Finnian should’ve won the entire competition. As I stated on my message previously I’m starting to watch the voice less and less because there’s so many deserving Artist who sang so beautifully yet they are bypassed…. You judges really need to up your game because you’re not doing your people any justice! I hope more people feel the same.

from the moment he opens his mouth you are drawn into the story he is telling, mesmerized by that incredible voice. Only the greats have that. I hope he gets a record deal quickly. He deserves it.
Definitely hit the nail on the head, the moment he opened his mouth I was stuck in a way listening the way he sings with soooooo much passion it takes me to new places ! I didn’t even hear her sing lol thas how much he’s moved and drawn me in !!
Many years ago, I sat on many country music judging panels in Tamworth and at country music festivals all over Australia - Barmera, Mildura, Gympie... (no stage of course as famous as 'The Voice') listening to young kids (well, teenagers and early 20's) sing their hearts out trying to get to that next level or have someone notice them - just as I was myself 'noticed' on one of those same stages years before that - shout out to Whyalla y'all. I heard and judged and gave advice to some amazing kids... some who went on to have and are still having powerhouse careers in country and bluegrass music both in Australia and overseas. I don't ever remember a voice quite like Finnian's ever coming across one of those stages... ever! I'm sure looking forward to whatever I can hear next from this young guy. I'm living in the US now because one person believed in me. Finnian has millions already believing in him. Simply amazing!
Someone liked my earlier comment which brought me here once again. Goosebumps all over! He’s only 19, yet he can move adults 2,3 times his age with the artistic beauty that his vocal chords possess. Imagine what he can do in 10 30 years, if given a chance to spread his wings. He said he wanted to be that guy on a stoop making people cry with his music. He made me cry with this song. I still believe he’d have gone further had he been able to pick another coach. Jess is alright but she she gets excited and emotional and doesn’t care in the moment whether she can carry a gifted artist through. Especially when this artist is so NOT her comfort zone. A true coach uses their head not emotions, to maximize benefits to their charges. Finian got stiffed.
I can't believe that he was eliminated...oh my god...he has such a great, beautiful voice...he can definitely sing ...well those judges are so dam crazy...im sure everyone loved and enjoyed watching him while he was on the show...I definitely enjoyed hearing him sing..I love his voice...he's absolutely outstanding..❤
My favorite performance of his was his audition. Beautiful voice together with an absolute storyteller's Mastery of a song. He may be young, but he's going a long way with that Talent.
I've never watched an episode of The Voice and somehow this got recommended to me. I couldn't stop watching, his voice is so amazing. I really hope he reaches his dreams and makes it big. I'll be a listener for sure!
Seriously his version of the song is amazing and has been literally stuck in my head for THREE DAYS!! When he gets a contract, he needs to put his audition song on his album!!
I don’t listen to as much country music as I did as a kid, but I would listen to this guy’s voice. He sounds amazing! This guy is from Newcastle…holy smokes!

saw him today first time. in landslide he basically commanded everything. she was ok and not bad but pretty much trying hard to stay on her upper limit while he went relaxed, topped twoce over her in everything while not even trying hard. he will be huge. great presence, great technical skills but really he already has that routine, the confidence, the finesse and the power of an old star. really hope he gets todo his own stuff in a long career. he could be a jonny cash or even better one day
It tears me up what the music industry does to great artists and how they see them as property. This seems like a nice young man who puts heart and soul into music.
Imagine that Finnian 's just19, yet he has such amazing voice and singing ability , and even character, that most men would love to have for themselves.
He has definitely got a good voice. A great deal of potential that a great voice coach might be able to get out of him. But character? I'm not sure any of us can tell anything about his character from a few songs. OR were you saying that his voice has "character?"
I’m almost 60 years old you could say I’m old country grandpa’s country with this guy he’s going to make it he needs to find his own country his country music that seems to him within him he’s got the voice he’s got the talent now He just needs someone to believe in him and his voice his talent and he will be a rising star in the country music scene
I listened to this guy when he would be busking at Coles and Woolies in Cessnock. I was surprised that he was eliminated. He performs at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. We will be hearing this guys voice for more years to come. Great voice Phinnian.
I don't know what it is but tears come to my eyes every time I listen to it. Something fabulous ! A wonderful timbre of voice. You can listen and listen. I hope that his adventure with music will not end with this program, because he deserves much more!

We are missing deep male voices in music now. There used to be lots of male singing groups with a bass voice. But it fell out of fashion. I'm always bowled over by the deep bass of Ko WooRim from Forestella (check their Shape of You 😂 ). This is such a pleasure to hear a lovely tone. And yes you can hear Cowboy, but he's more than that. We need more deep male voices. 👍

She did him a favour by letting him go, he now has the world as his oyster, someone will eventually snap him up, if they haven't already, remember, he's 19 and has years ahead of him. LOVE his tone, and yes, he is a story teller.
I'm really an old-school metal fan, but this young man Finnian just draws you in to listen. He has an awesome voice, my best wishes for him in a bright future!

WHAT?? His voice sounds like a seasoned country artist! I love his deep, husky, smooth, warm voice. His appearance doesn’t match his voice! I love that about him. He’s a very talented, handsome guy. Finnian Johnson, I will remember his name. He’s one to watch, what a talented singer he is. Why isn’t he on the Grand Ole Opry?? They’re sleeping behind the wheel on this guy. Come on, now!
Wonderful. Loved it. Some folks sing because they just have to get 'it' out. Big difference between people who take lessons and sing just to be famous and people who sing from the soul who just want to, need to share.

I don't understand these judges. One of them stated I LOVE THIS GUY, but he did not press the bottom. His voice, how he sings, how humble he is, and his behavior on the stage make him a star for sure. He will get far and he will be a very good singer.
He deserves a record deal.. Someone must see his potential and take him under their wing... Keith should take him to Nashville. PS I can't stand Jess and Rita as judges, the immaturity is beyond belief.
