I've cruised on this ship twice, and you still found things I never found?! I had no idea that excursions/future cruise bit was there at all. 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for the tour to fill in the gaps!!!

Excellent tour! Has given me a good insight to the ship. I've been looking at possibly booking Iona for a Norway cruise with the family in August, the last and only cruise I've been on was the sun princess Alaska cruise before having kids (16 or 17 years ago!) so a bit out of touch. In regards to the restaurants, it says some incur a small fee.. do you know anywhere to get an idea on what these 'small' fees are? the sample menus don't reveal anything. Also, I have a 16 & 13 year old & trying to work out the room layouts/suitability. I'm assuming the balcony rooms have a double bed, a bed on the sofa & then a pull down bed. Would the sofa & pulldown bed be ok for a 16 year old lad who is around 5ft9? Cheers & keep up the good work (I've subscribed 🙂)
Hey Matt, thanks for watching and subscribing, it’s always appreciated. Funny you mentioned Sun Princess I am heading on the New Sun Princess shortly, if it’s ready in time! Yes the room is as you described, those pull down beds can actually take adults, it does have weight limit but think it’s pretty high. I would say a standard balcony cabin for four for a week is fine although more than that maybe be testing. 🤣 from experience The cheapest is beach house south American type food 12 pp for everything. Sindhu the Indian is lovely and per item. For 4 of us it was around £100. Epicurean is posh one, more food three hour experience and priced around £35 pp but lovely. Hope this helps any more questions just ask.
Fantastic ship tour, we’ve been debating booking Iona as there are some great deals. There’s just so much space to walk around and relax. Where was your favourite dining experience?
Hey, thank-you. We loved the space and especially the atrium I loved large windows, with sun coming in on sea day you can’t beat it. Included eatery’s olive grove and quays. Up-charge epicurean was lovely, Sindhu and for the price beach house. Funny you say that been looking today to add my mum on our arvia cruise and prices were great! If get a good deal I would go for it
You certainly got to a lot of places I never saw! Did you get up very early or out late at night to film? All I could see was people, people and more people when I walked about. Certainly the busiest cruise I have ever been on!
Hi Gaynor. Yes I get up at least twice a cruise early ish before 7 to film, (I as in Tom others never rise before 9🤣) I love it such lovely time to wonder. Agreed it was very busy if left it to later in day all you would see is back of peoples heads it would be rubbish. Thank-you again for watching and commenting.
Hi Helen good choice with Iona. The kids loved the whirlpools, around every corner seemed there was another one. Indoor pool is great. Ernest saw two films on cruise, showings throughout the day. If it’s school holidays p&o put special acts on, we had sooty and our RU-vid loving son who hasn’t watched sooty for years loved it. The evening acts were suitable as well with plenty of recent songs. Are kids normally love kids club and enjoy the p&o ones but on this one we were two busy but the kids club is massive. One thing we do love doing is playing cards/uno etc in atruim it’s massive and great place on seadays. Hope that helps anymore questions please ask
Oh just to add if you having a chill few hours, tons of kids films free of charge on tv in the room. Our son always got interested in these at bed time 🤔
