Golbez one of my favourite characters from FFIV! I enjoyed the normal, delving into some practice later with static for extreme, we're not rushing for world first clears and such. Good luck on your savage runs!

I think the main thing I miss from my WoW days was having a good raid caller. I was always in a raid guild in WoW, but I haven't found a consistent group in FF14 yet, so everything is PF...

With all static requires voice chat, and somehow my isp won't let me connect to discord voice chat. I have to do everything in PF again. well cleared P8S in PF too multiple times. but the member is pretty much gacha everytime

They did well last savage before the shitty tank balance fucked them over. Forcing one of the tanks to swap to gnb and they had to relearn the fight. Now with warrior and paladin buffs they should do better this time

@@nebulagray88 IMO he's quite a bit easier than Endsinger, Barb, or Rubicante. His mechanics are very straight forward, easy to read, etc. and he often gives you a lot of time to do whatever it is you need to do.

It almost feels like he has a plugin to cycle his rotation so he can just keep mashing and it does his rotation for him, but thats just my guess

@@adamantium922not true. Jeath did my bars and I think scripe has them set up similarly. Where you only show the skills you want to track on screen, have a macro to hide your other hotbars. For example, on my whm I track my spells with cds, and for example rapture I have on a hidden hotbar because I know If I have flowers, I can use rapture. If you know your job well enough you can hide a lot of the bars and only have the ones you track on screen

i cannot imagine doing these later fights in a party finder group with no comms. It was doable back in HW and SB when the fights werent as chaotic but these fights would take me weeks and weeks in PF. That knockback into the towers would be such a miserable mechanic

@@harakiribanzai2483 I guess it is depending on your luck! yes it won't take weeks and weeks but it will take some time. I have had luck and cleared it on the 2nd day in pf, about 4-6h after the first try. But I have one friend who is insanely good that went in every day for 2-3h and cleared it on the very last day before the reset. Same with p9s, it took me 2.5h total in pf and my friend who cleared last 2 tiers within 1-2 weeks spent 16h on p9s before he cleared. The difficulty of the content is one thing. your luck with mates another. But yes the fights got a lot harder since back then but weeks is indeed an overstatement haha

Personal responsibility takes a bigger play when doing these in PF, which means whether you like it or not the game will drag you to learn the fights kicking and screaming.

Did great! One tip don’t waste any down time worrying about rezzing ppl. Your primary focus should be mechanics and dps uptime. Only rez if a healer specifically asks if can. Repeatedly saying you can rez is not welcomed by healers in general as they can handle it.

uuuh alrite 1. they are progging, so dps doesn't matter until you see all the mechanic and saw the enrage. if you never blind prog before, dead man yourself and your group to see more mechanic are the most important thing 2. he's communicating with his healer, of his own static, of his long time friend. not some rando healer 3. he's been raid lead on WoW for more than decades, have several world first, completely blind prog 5 savage tiers and ultimate. he switch to smn for the rez and switch back to BLM because he know they'll need extra DPS for P12S i'm pretty sure he know what he doing

"mechanic" were not solved, why should you focus on mechanic if you haven't even seen them yet,trying to gather info on said mechanic or pass through it ? lmao that's why rez is your priority, not only it'll cheese the mechanic with bodies and rez immunity you also can gather info and try solve the mechanic faster. talk like a true champion here despite knows nothing about blind progging. can you link your fflog here?

I adore FFXIV but it's only fair to point out that almost any WoW player is going to be thrown by the... frankly inferior design of snapshotting mechanics. If you're out before the graphical effect you should be out, period. That's what every WoW raider is used to so most of them will get tagged until they realize the telegraph isn't just a warning, it's the actual mechanic.

Saturday morning cartoon kiddo there! FFXIV fights, story, and gameplay are way more hardcore than WoW. The WoW devs don’t even play their game, hence Shadowlands.
