Digging the event. Even as a very casual player, I should be able to have every class to 70 before the War Within and have all the available mounts and transmogs unlocked.

I am a returning player...level 54. do I still create a new character for this event or can i jump in with my level 54?

Hey there, sounds like your level 54 character is not a Timerunner. Which would mean that you have to create a new character -- you can't convert a normal one to the event. 👍🏻

Simply, if you want to try another class then yes. You will probably level 1-70 on the remix event, faster than you would level 54-70 carrying on through retail expansion.
