I've been following Angelina 😇 musically 🎸 for almost 2 years now since she won Norway's go talent show at the age of 8 with songs by Billy Holliday! Nancy Sinatra and Georges Gerswin Summertime song whereupon Angelina won the song competition with 46% of 10 finalists! The youngest winner ever! Hi Miss Jazz, Angelina performed I put a spell on you at age 9 when her father rented a studio in norway that came with a band of older professionals . Angelina rewrote the song rearranged the music and walked in there and handed each musician a booklet with these are my wishes written on it. Not demands , Wishes. They all kinda shook their heads. But they followed all her wishes cuz her father paid for it. she controlled the whole room . After that performance they told her anytime you need a band to back you up just call we"ll be there. And they call her boss now. I seen them playing behind her on a few other songs. shes one of a kind, Child genius. Great reaction Jazzy, God Bless.

OK, my first Angelina experience was Born to Die. I thought it was a fake until I watched some more of her, then I was hooked.

Thank you for reacting to her, please keep your mind open when you listen to her Vegas rendition of this because little Angelina was a powerhouse on her own and her voice has changed since then.

Nina Simone's rendition has been considered by most to be 'The Gold Standard' for this song and rightfully so. But Angelina, at 10, takes this song to a level that, in my estimation, exceeds Nina's great rendition and which I can only describe as 'The Platinum Standard' for this song.

The Barefoot Angel is a gift from people of Norway to the music world. Thanks for reacting to this unbelievable performance by Angelina.

This performance was on National TV with professional audio so it sounds great. Unfortunately, they only allowed cellphone videos in Vegas, so there are greatly varying audio/video quality from that concert. So far, the best fan videos have been done by James Thiel & Big Angie Fan (Chris Walker). They are doing each song from the concert, but Feelin' Good isn't done yet. You might consider waiting a few days, since they are posting new ones every few days.

Thank you for another reaction to Angelina. In my opinion, she is the best singer in the world, and there are thousands of others who would agree with me. Every moment you spend featuring her on your channel will being you great emotional satisfaction. There are so many things I get from this performance. Some I recognised immediately and those I missed were brought to my attention by the more observant Angelina fans (her Angels) and I thank them for letting me know what I had missed. (1) The realisation that at the age of 10 Angelina has shed all childishness from her voice. (2) A feeling that the placement of the spotlight at the beginning of her performance was deliberate. If it was, then, to my mind, it was a brilliant move. (3) The fact that Angelina arranged this song and that the band kept out of the way and let her voice be the focus. (4) The incredible low note she sang for the word "good" at the beginning and end of the performance. (5) That wonderful crescendo at the end. (6) The was Angelina used her left arm and hand throughout the performance (7) The way she changed the microphone from her right hand to left hand, so that she could flip her hair back with her right hand. (8) The cheeky smile she gave to the cameraman when she realised he had focused on her at about 3.28in your reaction video. (9) The sideways look and grin she gives to her instrumentalists just after she curtsies to the audience -- as if to say, "Yeah, we killed it, guys! Now let's go get some ice cream!" (10) The almost instantaneous switch from "performance" mode to that of a young child who, curtseyed and gave a sweet smile to the audience as an acknowledgement of their applause. Others have commented that the performance by Nina Simone should be considered the "gold" standard for this song. Until recently, I had never watched her performance, but have now done so. They just cannot be compared, for Angelina's arrangement is totally different

New sub here. My discovery of Angelina was back at the start of the pandemic in March, 2020, and her performance of Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" on AGT Champions. Needless to say, I had goosebumps, chills, and tears. I have been a devoted angel ever since! Glad you are too.

Great stuff, Jazz! My first video of Angelina was her audition, Gloomy Sunday, but to be honest it wasn't until I heard her sing Speak Softly Love from her album, It's Magic, that I fell big time for her voice. She melts your soul. There's no other way to put it.
