I asked myself them exact same questions Deb the first time I heard Angelina sing when I discovered her in 2020. then I searched for more of her music everyday since. I discovered on my journey its because the united states music industry it very tight, It is hard to break into if you are an outsider.Thats why angelina took another route You Tube performances to promote herself.The grammys never invited angelina once to attend and perform.Its kind of racist in my opinion. They always say on the news our country is racist against black folks. I think that racism against folks outside our country is much worse than against black folks in our country. All Angelina needs is a Dolly Parton type person to take her under their wing and give her a break and a introduction to the music industry and she will take off like a rocket. Angelina will get there someday. That kind of talent and old fashioned purity cant be stopped. I predict she will go down in history as the G.O.A.T . IMO. Angelina's vibrato and runs are as delicate as grandma's lace. Debbie, there are gems of Angelina that are rarely reacted to. THE FIRST TIME EVER I SAW YOUR FACE is dumbfounding the way she emotes lyrics she's never lived. The string mashup of AINT NO SUNSHINE WHEN SHE GONE is another amazing performance, the soul and fry she sings that with along with the beautiful string arrangement. There are many more overlooked performances like NATURAL WOMAN and CALIFORNIA DREAMIN. I absolutely love love love her new material, but the amazing thing is her old performances are still brilliant. Jumping around the Angelina catalog is a daily delight for me, she is so so special.
Indeed. Two more of her most beautiful and brilliant performances that have to some extent been loverlooked are "La Boheme" and "Song For A", both done when she was quite young, but which nevertheless are magnificent examples of her otherworldly talent and heavenly voice.

You know that AJ’s grandmother is an artist, right? Let me tell you what I LOVE about this performance and I think about it *every time* I listen to it. Mery Zamani (her grandma) made a painting of Angelina when she was first on Norway’s Got talent back in November of 2013. That beautiful painting (missing teeth and all) is silkscreened in Angelina’s top she is wearing in *this* performance. You can get a good look at it when Angelina spreads her arms to reach that incredibly high note. If you’re like me, your heart will soar every time you watch this performance in the future. This is one of Angelina’s best-and that is saying a lot. It’s not just the beauty of her voice. She makes you understand the meaning of these melancholy lyrics in a way Elton’s original never tried to do. And then there’s that incredible beauty of her voice.

I loved you heartfelt reaction! I discovered Angelina a little over a year ago and have become a devoted fan. Few people move me the way Angelina does with each performance. When people remarked that seeing her perform live was even better, I resolved to see her if given the chance. And I did in Portsmouth in September. Meeting other fans became another wonderful part of the experience as well. It was well worth the 13 hour drive. When her concerts were announced for the Westgate Hotel on Feb 29th, I knew I had to attend and so I found a way to scrounge up the money for the airfare, hotel and tickets. It will be so worth it. Nothing compares, nothing.❤

Debbie, this was my introduction to Angelina back in the spring of 2020. She gave me the same chills that you express, and I have not lived a day since without listening to her exquisite music!
I agree Deb Angelina should be all over the radio and awards shows and red carpet events. Somebody like Dolly Parton should have angelina open at her shows to give her more exposure to the public. I stumbled on her in 2020 just listening to the golden buzzers from AGT. If I didnt see her in 2020 I would have missed out on all her performances I enjoyed so far. I cant think of any singer I have heard that has more talent or I enjoy listening to more than her, Thats including Elvis and he was my number one artist for years. RIP Elvis, Angelina has it covered! Once folks listen to her and find out her background they realize shes more than just a great singer. Shes a great human being that raises millions a year for homeless kids and has a great support system with her family that all raised her right. Grandma Merry got the ball rolling and Angelina went with it and thats why she is where shes at today.

I always say that when Angelina chooses to cover another artist’s songs her rendition is so breath taking and incredible that she takes ownership of them. She has covered around seven of Adele’s songs and as good as Adele is I much prefer to listen to Angelina’s version of her songs.

Hi Deb would you react to angelinas cover of adeles song Million Years Ago. IMO I think its her bet performance ever at any age. She was only 12 But her highs her lows her passion just Raw Talent is mind blowing. Even her guitar player Ivan said he kept making mistakes during the song cuz he couldnt believe what he was heaaring and kept thinking how lucky he was to be sitting next to such a talent . He said he made three mistakes and two were the same mistake. He said angelina stopped and explained to him in a very gentle kind way what to do no yelling just calmness. I think its her overall best I ever heard from any singer so far in my listening to music. Shes way ahead of the pack.

I could see how it would be frustrating about blocked videos. I can understand how and why a video is blocked because of copyright issues, whether it be the record company’s, artist’s or show’s copyright, but the confusing things is how videos get through on some channels and not on others. There are probably even videos that you were able to post that other reactors couldn’t. I think the inconsistency is what’s frustrating. The Beatles are a group that is frequently blocked but some reactors have no problem.
