I have been super impressed with the Simplex. It definitely has nice recovery speed and separation. The stock coil gets pretty deep and I like the 9x5 as well. Happy hunting and be well
I can’t help but think that they set the bar so high this machine that new multi you can almost guarantee will be one of the deepest seeking vlfs ever made
I agree 100%. I'm really looking forward to seeing the SMF in action. I believe it will be later this month or next when it is released. Don't quote me on it though.
I hit a US quarter at 12” with the SP28 in Field mode, max sensitivity, beach sand, was just a chirp, no VDI, but repeatable. I got nothing in Park 1, Park 2 or Beach modes. As soon as I scooped one scoop out, came up an 89/90. Clad quarter. Amazing! Will take a look at the larger coils. Thanks for the review.
Good video, Xmas gift right there :) I love to try it on some of my old farm fields. In the river though, I dreed digging through 13 inches of rocks, boulders, & gravel, But, Id do it lol !!!
I just ordered the SP35 coil for my Simplex. Hoping to gain extra depth. I mainly run the SP22 5”x9” coil in parks etc…. Then I’ll run the stock 11” coil in homesteads etc.. Wanted to add a larger deeper coil to my arsenal for those none trashy sites where you need depth more then separation. Thanks for your video.
Can't use the sp-35 on my simplex. The planes flying over china keep interfering with the signal...lol. Its not quite that deep, but it is really impressive. The 35 makes a great machine even better!
I'm impressed also. Even with the small coil I've got good finds underwater that were just a cluck of vibration. So now if any number shows up one the screen, I'm digging or scooping you might say. Get yourself a wetsuit bud.
Yeah, I have a 3 mil suit. I may have to get in the water again soon. I have a couple more beach areas on the lake I need to hit before winter sets in.
@@southernrelics I got a 3mm today, its for an underwater pipe cutting job next week but after that it's going to the lake. I'll try to extend the season as long as I can, then its back to the shovel.
