Hoi hoi, authentiek eten en smaken dat is zeker altijd lekker. En dat eten wat jullie besteld hebben zag er ook heel erg lekker uit. Toen ik in Su was in 2011, met vakantie na lange tijd, was ik ook vaak opzoek naar de authentieke smaak van veel eten in Su. Veel eten smaakte niet als vroeger. Ken jij het Javaans restaurant aan de Birambie straat, die staat precies tegenover het Diakonesse ziekenhuis. Alles daar was toch zo lekker. Vooral hun bamie, super lekker. En zo een zaak zocht ik toen in Su. Moeilijk te vinden hoor. Maar ik ben genoten van je vlog. Ik heb zitten rekenen en in euro’s is het ongeveer €58. Niet duur dus. Take care!

You guy crack me up with your comments. Well I’m a Suriname born and currently reside in USA since the age of 14. I have been to India many times and the food there taste good, but like you said it’s very spicy.. well Hana picked the right dish , which is kardai chicken. Your other daughter has picked a complete vegetarian dish, paneer masala with the latcha roti. Paneer is Indian cheese. I never care for curry chicken. You should have tried the mutton rogan e josh. Always try something you have hard time pronouncing. You did great in choosing different types of roti, but naan is not a roti. Naan they stretch it out and stick it on the wall of an brick oven in direct heat coal or wood. I see you you got chicken biryani to go. masala chai does not c ontain actual masala that we know and use. Masala means spices, which includes clove, cardamom and I believe ginger and cinnamon boiled down with milk. My sister loves it and makes it, which she learned from her Indian friend from Bangalore India. Is very good when made from scratch and not the powder stuff you buy in store. Enjoy your Indian food in Suriname, because the ingredients they can grow in Suriname and taste the freshness of it vs in USA or Europe it gets imported or the powder stuff. You are not missing anything in India beside the history and beautiful architectural work. Hopefully they learned to maintain their hygiene, unlike in India. The Muslim Indian are more hygienic than the hindus. I am a Hindu myself and traveled many Asia countries with Hindus, Muslims and Buddhists, and so far observed Muslims are #1 hygienic, #2 Buddhist and last come the Hindus. You are more Vulnerable to get food poisoning and that can ruïne your whole trip. Street for, best not to try, even though it looks and smells yummy. I’m coming home next year and I will try the Indian food and than judge.

Greg glad to see you and the family enjoyed the authentic Indian food. You should've try the mutton rogan josh. The Indians use the same species we used, but in their own way. The paneer is their kind of cheese. Hanna doesn't use milk, but there's yogurt in the curries. It was nice to see so many people in the restaurant. I see you even buy food for granny. Hope she likes it. It is nice to try other food now and again. The masala tea is just cardamom , cinnamon ,ginger loose tea leaves. Then they boil it with milk. That tea is good after you eat.
