I like that the stove/oven is centered. Most manufactures do not take into account the handles on pots and pans and the person being left or right handed.
I just got this...ordered it a month or so ago.....ask me questions! (I ordered mine with three AC's and king bed). AC- Yes, stupid quiet! If you live where it's hot, GET 3RD AC! Understand they are ONLY 13.5k btu's EACH. They did this because you can run 2 AC's on a single 30a plug--IF YOU HAD TO. Bedroom TV fits a 32" comfortably....Yes on fridge will open when slide is in!
Did you put in a A//C or a heat pump? Wife is always cold and it would save me propane....lol. Seems to be well built. We will be taking it all over the US and Canada. I'm guessing still no anti-lock brakes? Is the hot water 40 or 60k on demand?
Facts-That's what makes you so good, Josh. You give us the facts, so we can make an educated decision. To determine what manufacturer fits our lifestyle best. My husband and I appreciate all your videos. After the factory/laminating videos, we will be dealing with Alliance. 27:04
Josh, you are da bomb!! Might have been my computer, but one of the first screens with all the points had the points, but not the words... could just be my watching venue. Glad you found that fridge issue.. that was funny. haha. JK. Ok. Thanks again. Happy RV reviewing.
Time to go to mini splits with heat pumps. My mini split will run off my solar only and my workshop is 25x23 and it goes down to 71 when its 112 outside and up to 73 when its 12 outside in the winter with snow on the roof.
Hey Josh! Can you check out the new Avenue 38DBL? We haven’t found any that show it closed up in road mode. Also, we’d love to hear your thoughts on that unit! Your videos are our favorites!!
Hi Josh, this is the floor plan my wife and I like, I for sure like the wide body design. Question, are the theater seats power or manual recliner? Also, would be nice to see Alliance offer a full body paint job for the Avenue series, if they did I would for sure buy this over the Keystone Cougar which has the full body paint. Thanks for your videos, always great getting to see all the different units without having to visit a dealer.
@@JoshtheRVNerd There are some really comfortable aftermarket mattresses for hide a bed sofas. I agree the older style inner spring thin mattresses are not good.
Why do so few builders use combo theater seats? This is perfect for me. Most of the time, my lady and I love to cuddle. But when it's really hot we'd rather have the splitter.
thanks for your time on this do not like refrigerator need one not with french door setup and what about cpap in bed area TV like paradigm unit I like it over all
Hi Josh, thank you for all you do! Wondered what your thoughts are regarding the plumbing on most RVs? I ask because I have seen a ton of videos discussing the vast majority of RVs seem to have inconsistent plumbing which often times promotes leaks. Curious if you have any insight into this?
Love this floorplan. Having a hard time seeing the $30k difference in pricing from the Paradigm 310rl. Some differences: 1. Drop frame vs not. 2. Hydraulic vs electric leveling. 3. 2" sidewall vs 1.5". 4. Stackable w/d vs split closet. Anything else? Do these justify that much price difference?
@@stephenadams8541 listen, I’ve spoke to tons of folks. Here is the breakdown of what you listed above. Drop frame gets you dramatically closer to the ground when traveling and sitting. NO THANKS! I really don’t like being stupid careful about bottoming out! Hydraulic is much more of a pita than worth. Leaks, pumps, charged lines.. 15 min to swap out bad electric versions. Yup another layer of wall material…like that greatly makes a difference?? More and more people will install wa/dry systems and pull them out after 6 months. Too much tied to rig everyday for super silly tiny loads and introduce moisture into the rig with vibration that drives you nuts. Laundromat in 1 hour per week,…..done!
Nice. Can't really say anything against it. I'd want 3rd air and a queen bed. Brinkley would be first choice, but it's a thousand pounds heavier and pricier, but you get what you pay for. I have a suggestion for your nerd merch: An enameled metal lapel\hat pin. Oh, and crocs jibbitz (I had to look up what they are called). You are always talking about socks, crocs and undies, and you have the undies and socks covered. Manufacturers already make canned ham ones, and a variety of outdoor themed ones like a campfire and the word Camp in different forms. So if you had some made with the words "Nerd Herd" and your goofy face, combined with ones already in production, including a bed, fridge and toilet (nap, snack and crap) you would have a custom set. I get it would probably be too expensive to have custom pieces made, but tossing it out there as a way to tie into two of your common phrases.
I know I’m the minority but I’d love to see a dinette in this classic floor plan. I LOVE a dinette. I find them cozy and not as clunky as heavy chairs.
That’s kinda like saying “if you had a Chevy or a Cadillac which would you take?” If money is no issue that Brinkley is hard to beat. With money factored in it becomes a more level field
Good morning sir iam interested RV ac technician job vacancy visa please help me sir how to apply sir please help me sir iam hord work sir please help me
@ 15:59, you weren't wrong about the floor vents, you did mention there could be a possibility of finding one here and there in some models. Lol, I actually live in an RV, its more economical. I really dispize my floor vents. You must have fun at your job, I would, just seeing all the different models there are, it's pretty cool. 😎
Alliance has had VERY little in the way of frame issues. Those that have happened have almost all had unapproved pinbox swaps applied and Alliance has generally worked with people who approached them with a reasonable temperament and assisted with repairs
@@JoshtheRVNerd I don't want repairs. I want proper frame design from the very beginning. I still support your videos!! However, in an era of HORRENDOUS frame FAILURES, look at the frame FIRST.
just picked up our 2024 Avenue 32RLS with the custom paint. We did add the 3rd A/C just to make sure it would cool. We are located in Southern Calfiornia and it gets hot here. It took 2 years to make up our mind and we would have never chosen a 5th wheel without Josh's input. He is the reason we picked this rig. his knowledge in the insustry is priceless. Thank you Josh for being there for us. Keep up the great work
We own a 2021 340 RL when both lower a/c units are on hi they are a little loud. The upside is they cool very fast so you can turn them to low and then they are no louder then the ducted a/c units.
The bedroom nightstand look very small. By the time I put my eyeglasses, bottle water and cell phone I be knocking things off on the floor. Need bigger nightstand. Maybe in a Queen bed they could put bigger nightstands.
Probably should fire the new video editor. The video has NO bullet points in the beginning of it. Where you list the things of note and things of concern. That a pretty big miss. Just saying 😮
1) I was pleasantly surprised that the price was more. 2) I’ve always liked the looks of these Alliances and I hate to criticize them, buuuuuuut….. the spare tire belongs either on the rear or in the underneath storage since as one gets older or harder to crawl under things. I will die on that hill. 3) Also, Alliance, why do you not use the curve type ladder on the top? You have the ladder and a separate hand held on the roof itself. If you used a ladder that was all one piece it would actually make for a safer transition from ladder to roof and vice versa. I’m sure that you are doing it for costs: but please don’t put profits over safety. 4) Can you daisy chain and add more solar on the roof? 5). Another great video Josh
They went with symmetry at the kitchen stove but didn’t with the living room slide windows. The longer window behind the table irritates me visually. Other than that I really like it and the decor.
Love the Wide body. Love how much it makes the feel big. Love the door side windows. The kitchen is great. Love the storage. The new inside color looks great. The bathroom is great. The bedroom has some great space. Love it! Why don’t alliance put auto leveling on there travel Trailer? As a option? Thank you…..
$$$$$. You get a super-cheap unit at cheap pricing. We also found all the Alliance trailers had tiny 10 cu' refers and NO REAL coset space..just a tiny one.
The way I look at the question of what's the difference between a paradigm and an Avenue is this, check out the difference between a Chevrolet and a Cadillac. Both good vehicles just equipped differently
Love this floor plan we have almost the same floor plan on our 18 Crossroads Sunset 33SI but it is a bumper pull. You said several 5th wheels have this plan do you happen to know where I could find a list of them? Thank you in advance for any help
Yep. I often leave lists of similar layouts in the video description under the weights and measures with links to their videos You’ll find I did that here with 3-4 options
Josh, were you referring to the dimmer switch that you can buy at most RV parts departments? I would LOVE to replace ours. I think this is a great feature. Other wise you have to find places to plug in small lamps for the correct ambiance!!! Always get such informative info,THANKYOU!!!!!
Failure rates on the ones (touch sensor) in the video were STUPID HIGH!! The new unit I got last week came with the older ones with a slider built in...they NEVER FAIL...
@@Tom-Fishermanexcellent, glad you told me this, just wonder if it will work with the hole cut from the current switch? If it's bigger that's better,it will cover the hole. Again THANKYOU !!!!!
pretty sure its exact. sometimes they just have a tiny sticker on an outside seal The slide fascia doesn't stick out far enough for accu from what i can see but man I see a LOT of rvs and it gets tough to keep it all straight
@@Tom-Fisherman I know they use them on the Paradigm, but at 15:33 you can see Accu-slide corner brackets under the bed. I don't know if this is a prototype and the production units use Exact Slide instead.
They are accuslides, the single slider motor is located under the frame of the bed, the motor is accessible by lifting the bed struts and removing the back panel of the underbed storage. Exact slides use 2 motors and are synced to a slider controller
Absolutely love this 5th wheel. The interior is beautiful. I have one issue - the camp side slide out windows - one large & one medium would drive me (more) bonkers. Why not two of the same size? I hope they will make a no slide bedroom with a front window floor plan. Otherwise spot on!
It's weird, Alliance used to look/feel like they were a cut above half of the market but now they seem somewhat generic. Maybe it's just our perception and we've gotten spoiled by seeing some amazing units here. Thanks for the tour, Uncle Josh!
