Believe it or not there are still more of us than there are of them. By 'us' I mean people with values and common sense. They're just a lot noisier than we are. Stick with the folks who think like you, but don't give up on the poor brainwashed people you know. It could be that one word or one gesture of yours could open their eyes. No sense to argue with them. Facts mean nothing to people who have been indoctrinated. Just be yourself, loving and kind, and take whatever opportunities life provides to spread that.

Its not made up. Its transliteration.Paul, being lead by the Holy Spirit, didn't write Yeshua because he wasn't writing in Hebrew but in Greek and in Greek a masculine name cannot end in an a and the Yuh sound is made with the I. He wrote Iesus. When the Bible was translated into German the Yuh sound was made with a J, hence Jesus. When it came yo England a J sounds like Juh. If the Holy Spirit allowed, nay inspired, Paul to write Iesus, I doubt he would be that upset with Jesus. Having said that, as Paul also wrote, rigidity on things like not eating meat may show immaturity in ones walk, but since I will assume you are doing this with fervor as unto the Lord, so I won't speak as harshly to you did to me and try to just show grace. And like I said before I mean well and genuinely and truelly am coming from a caring place.I'm just fustrated and tired with all the people I talk to who to me seem like they're all driving off a cliff and taking the rest of us with them. Not so much on this subject but mostly a bunch of other things. I used to keep my mouth shut and not say nothing. Anyways sorry imma STOP with that. Are you familiar with Constantine and how it's said that he had a hand in mixing and blending of the bible we have today? Well supposedly that's where the name Jesus came from and that that was a completely different person then Our Savior. So 2 different people and one got put in the good book. I forget why. I do feel like the bible is God inspired and that there is a lot of good that can be taking from it. But I also believe that there has been lots of people who have altered changed and mistranslated it, some on accident some intentional. When I read the book I ask God for wisdom and understanding and the Name to me seems like it was revealed to me as true. So if I am truelly wrong I would like to know with info not just someone to say I'm wrong. Im just not convinced about the whole transliteration thing. I mean I get it and can see why people would say that. I bought that for a while but had a change of heart. I feel there's so much deception and lies that we are being bombarded with and truly feel that the name is one of them. Because with the lie so simple as the name and everyone to believe and use it is going to put a lot of people in a bad place. He said it will be easier for a camel to fit thru the eye of a needle then for someone to make thru the gates of heaven. To know a crooked line, there must be a straight line - an authority or final truth. Romans 3:4 says let God be true and every man a liar. 2 Timothy 3:4 says all scripture is given by God and is good to use. Jesus himself promised that they were inspired by the Holy Spirit (Mark 12:36) that not one particle of them could perish (Matt 5:18) that not one word of them could be denied (John 10:35) and that everything written in them were Devinely authoratative ( Matt 4: 4,7,10). I have studied Scripture over 30 years and have found it so. I may read other things, but I compare THEIR reliability by Scripture. I have also studied a little Greek and know the Greek New Testament (all of the authors in it) spelled Jesus' name Ieaus. I believe his name was Yeshua in Hebrew, but none of the authors saw fit to write it that way. They were writing in Greek. We have much older copies of the New Testament than of any other work of antiquity. I have to choose SOMETHING to be my straight line or final authority so I choose scripture. What ever you have read to decrease your faith in it was written by man and should IMO be held less true than the very Scripture it is bashing. I would never fault you for using Yeshua and I do myself at times. Just read the scripture yourself and see if its truth doesn't bear up above all writing that would make you doubt its veracity. I will be praying for the Lord to lead you into all truth of the reliability of His word over all sources written by man that would cast doubt of its reliability.
