We do plan a shower, but on the opposite of the house. We do work well together.

Uh oh, tell me more about the edging issue. I'd hate to have to rip all this up.

@@TKCL My experience is that it expands and contracts with heat and cold - so it will get snakelike when hot and then shrink up tighter pulling the stakes loose and partially out when exposed to colder temps than when installed. I have heavy clay soil and I watered, compacted and leveled before installing BUT we get frost in the ground in the winter (so we have a little heaving from freeze/thaw) and I also have night crawlers who create little moguls throughout the entire lawn. Every year I have to rework and partially reshape almost the entire thing, pound the stakes back in and add more (I now have 6in. landscape pins in EVERY hole). I found that unless it can stay totally level on the bottom and the stakes and pins are installed with the approx. the same tension on those tabs that it is worse. I am just as picky as you about stuff and it's been very hard to resign myself to "it is what it is" and just fix it every year, because now I'm getting too old and I can't afford to replace it. I thought No-Dig would be the way to go - in theory it is, but that's my story. With your sandy type soil I had to cringe, but I have my fingers crossed for you. Sorry so long

@TKCL no I seen a contractor where I live use it on big chucked limestone. I mean the bigger the rock the more glue you would have to use (that's just me thinking 🤔)

I keep it in my shop, rarely do I smell anything. The key is to keep it out of the sun. It's holding up well, pump is a little rough, but it's still working great!
