I finally purchased a second WP Standard bag! It is an oversized zippered tote in olive pebble leather. My first one was a messenger bag I bought either through Facebook Marketplace or eBay. The box the bag came in was HUGE! Overall, the quality of this leather tote is excellent. However, because of how they packed and shipped the bag, it came with heavy creasing, including those from the handles. If you plan to purchase this bag, be aware that these creasing may or may not go away.

The WP Standard leather is heavier, reminded me the leather from Go Forth Goods. PLG is lighter probably because the construction is very simple and straightforward lol

Love seeing that you added a WP standard bag to the mix. I have a WP standard duffle bag and it’s perfect for traveling. I agree their bags are heavier but you can tell they’re great quality. And you can’t beat a lifetime warranty!

Generally I love their leather, but I have a slight concern with the side seam stitching, like I can see light shines through the needle holes... 🙈 I am trying to buy bags based on the quality when I get them because lifetime warranty is not a guarantee if the company doesn't make it 😂

I did send them my feedback regarding how they shipped my order, but I think they don't reply email. I am not returning the bags but I will be less incline to buy more in the future 😅

They keep sending automated email asking for response and reviews, but never reply lol. I would hold off from buying too many in case I run into quality issues.

I love WPStandard. Their leather is amazing. I have a couple totes, small leather goods and a pair of Mr. Grumpy slippers. Oh how I love those slippers!

@@cheesim there is a short break in period - very slippery bottoms and leather needs to form around your feet.

@@cheesim the slippery period does not last long. You can always scuff bottoms on a rough surface like the sidewalk or just put masking tape on the soles.

Some people in the WP standard fan group on Facebook were saying that bags were no longer being shipped in boxes. Your box appears to be extra large and maybe even too big for what you ordered. Have you always received your shipments in boxes from WP standard?

The box was too big! lol My first WP Standard bag was from a reseller so this was my only experience dealing with them. I didn't know they don't ship in a box anymore. I don't think I like how they folded the bag, the crease on the back from the handles is quite bad 😅
