Flagler's role with Standard Oil was what we call logistics. He was responsible for building a shipping empire to move the oil for Standard. He was very involved with railroads in the north central of the US with Cleveland Ohio as his headquarters. And this is what got the boys from Standard Oil in trouble because they controlled rail shipping in PA, OH and other areas. He was a savvy guy and knew how to make a buck. We need part 2!
