Can I ask... I am new to my D12 that came with a 1200mAh 7.4V battery. I'm slowly modifying to all metal suspension and drive train and 370 motor with metal trans. All electronics are stock however. It's not going to be a drift truck, but I need to ask a few things to get to the next step. I want to put a roof mounted light bar on it and I see some unused plugs on the controller board. Can any of them be used for powering the light bar? And will I be able to use the stock radio or will I need one with more on-off power switches? I also hear the 370 motor I've ordered may overload the controller with a stock battery, but not sure if my uprated battery will solve that (if it is in fact a real issue)? Lastly, are there specs for front-end alignment?. My D12 is a bit too darty and no matter how well I trim, steering doesn't always come back to 0. The joints are not bound up at all and everything is locktighted. just alignment needs more tow or sompthin. Any help is appreciated. I am more dangerous than knowledgable here! PS. I'm asking these same questions on several D12 vids hoping to get answers, so sorry if you see this more than once in your YT D12 travels.
Stupid question, don’t have one so hence... so do the stock d12 tires come off the stock d12 wheels? Can’t find any indication out there that they do, so In other words, I’m trying to see if stock d12 tire would fit on like a b36 wheel?? Trying to make a custom dodge dually and get a better rubber tire option than what I’m working with at the moment.
Don't think you can remove the tires, seem glued to me. You can just use the whole wheel instead, replace the B36 wheels. Don't know why would you need the D12 tires only, I bet that the wheels are not the same design as any other RC tires out there.

Hi everyone great video,I bought one of these for my wife and although it's a great looking little rc van I'm very concerned about the cheap transmitter, used for 5 minutes and battery's inside transmitter were extremely hot,I'm concerned about the electronics on this thing so I want to change transmitter,receiver,motor and the ESC so I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to list mainly motor and ESC I can use in this please
ESC+Motor combo : Surpass Hobby 2430 25A ESC Servo : JX PDI-1181MG For transmitter, you can get the best transmitter+receiver out there but some cheap ones are the Dumbo RC. Mine just happen to have my old Sanwa MT4, so I just use that.
Thx ever so much for replying I do appreciate it alot,I have a cheap transmitter and receiver lying around so can use that but the items you suggested I will get these and fit them as I'm really concerned about the transmitter it's shipped with.

Someone did ask on this. Try searching in AliExpress or other platforms ESC+Motor combo : Surpass Hobby 2430 25A ESC Servo : JX PDI-1181M This model is plug and play. Mine in the video needs a few modification on the chassis.
1. I can use my Sanwa MT4 remote again. 2. Steering more responsive, and it is metal gear inside the servo, robust and long lasting. 3. Throttle response is better. 4. Torque increased from standard. 5. You will feel satisfied. ... ... A lot more than you think.

Semua shopee. ESC search "2435 esc" tapi lagi bagus "2430 esc" sebab x payah potong chassis dah. Servo search "1181 servo", model sy pakai 1171 mcm x jumpa dah dlm shopee.. entah la.
Servo sy beli ni, sbb dah lama beli untuk model lain, sy pkai je kat sini. Sbb tu ada modified dlm vdo. Kalau nak cun ngam masuk, cari PDI-1181MG kat Shopee.
