Yep, I changed costumes there to activate a save exploit

Hey and thanks :) If you don't mind, I'll copy an explanation I've written some time ago: 1. For the first Arc du Triomphe fight, you have to glitch through the door at the cable car section of Notre Dame, since the trigger for the first fight is at the lever which would normally open the door. 2. For the second fight at the Arc de Triomphe, you go to the door that leads to the Notre Dame area. By doing so, you set a new spawnpoint for Asterix at that door, which means if you die, you'll be respawned at that door and not at the door that leads to the eiffel tower. Thus, the fight that you were supposed to do, is not activated anymore and you can go straight on without triggering it again. However, there is a faster way than dying: When you're at the door, go to the pause screen and change costumes. This saves the game (and with that also the new spawnpoint), so when you exit the game and reenter, the game puts you there. 3. The same is possible for the third fight at the Arc: Only that this time, you set a new spawnpoint at the door to the Eiffel Tower, so that after changing costumes and reentering, you can run around the area and activate the button for the elevator without triggering the fight again. 4. To teleport Obelix to the other side for the boss skip, you have to position him close to the ledge (the spot that you can walk off of), then press the dash button so that he falls into the death pit and press the switch button at the same time. Now you are in control of Asterix again, and the uncontrolled Obelix that "died" in the death pit should be respawned behind Asterix. Auf jeden Fall 😃 Freue mich schon darauf, Glitches und Skips zu suchen ^^ Das einzige, was mich vom Runnen abhalten könnte, ist wenn OSome Studio keine Funktion einbaut, die Cutscenes zu überspringen, dann würde Speedrunnen sehr schnell nervig werden :/

@@Failentin ich glaub eher weniger, dass sie die Cutscenes unüberspringbar machen 😃 und selbst wenn, müsste sich ja jeder (Speedrunner) damit rumschlagen.

Vielen Dank! Ja, der XXL2 Run ist grundsätzlich ähnlich, hat aber einige ganz spannende Skips, die nur in der Originalversion funktionieren :) Die ladelosen Zeiten werden automatisch vom Autosplitter berechnet!

@@Failentin dann habe ich das wahrscheinlich dezent beim 100% run verkackt 😅 Okay werde noch in den anderen Run schauen, aber wahrscheinlich erst Morgen.

@@FrosterXXL Oha, kann es sein, dass der Autosplitter nicht mehr existiert? Ich hab gerade in meinen eigenen Splits nachgeschaut und festgestellt, dass in allen XXL Spielen steht: "There is no Auto Splitter available for this game." Das wäre ja sehr schade und echt merkwürdig...

@@Failentin wer organisiert die Splits für die Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 Spiele? Hätte echt Lust nun auch hier mal einen Any% Speedrun zu machen, aber mit diesen langen Ladezeiten kann ich unmöglich ohne Autosplitter spielen... )=

Bzw. eig. reicht es gar nicht, durch die decke zu glitchen. Ich verstehe nicht, wovon es abhängt, dass man die Video-Sequenz triggert oder nicht.

Danke! Der dritte Boss-Skip ist etwas schwierig, denn die Triggerbox für die Cutscene liegt im Kerkergitter. Nur indem man von der Decke herab springt, kann man sich da reinglitchen. Deswegen mache ich auch diese kleinen Sprünge ab 1:11:52, um wirklich den ersten Punkt nach dem Gitter zu erwischen. Die Ausführung davor war in diesem Run leider nicht ganz sauber 😅 Beim Endboss lässt sich das Spawnen der letzten Gegnerwelle vermeiden, indem man nach dem zweiten Hit als Obelix so schnell wie möglich zu Asterix wechselt (1:20:40). Dazu muss der Boss aber auch auf genau dieser Plattform mit diesem Kamerawinkel stehen.

yes i know i played the remasterd too but from i could remeber i purched twister combo after loxore

also i figer out that if you jump and atack after that you can move faster i think?
