Absolutely legendary run, thank you for I stream Dark Souls 3 live on Twitch: / sieg If you wanna support my channel: boosty.to/siegbruh Discord: / discord Twitter: / siegbruh #darksouls3 #speedrun #glitchless
Thank you for watching this video. For all the people who got confused with how "glitchless" this run is - the whole run follows the official ruleset of Any% Glitchless category on speedrun.com which can be found here ( www.speedrun.com/darksouls3?h=Any_Glitchless&rules=category&x=jdz6v9v2 ). FAQ - At 10:30 you dont go "through" the wall. Its a visual asset deload that is caused by character standing next to this wall, you dont even have to jump towards it. It never deloads anything else but textures and you never go out of bounds, this jump is done only to get some more speed down the pit, so its possible to perform Fall Damage Cancel. Speaking of Princes strategy - its not an AI glitch, and it has one major difference from actual AI Freeezes (like Watchers Freeze or Aldrich Freeze) - boss literally cant see you if you end up fighting Phase 1 at that certain spot on the carpet. And until you hit Lorian in Phase 2 or go too far, he will not notice you, which allows you to hit Lothric, for more information about this strat, i have a video that you can check out - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2x7yYbNO3Rk.html . If you have any other questions - feel free to ask.
How can the Twin Princes AI "disable" not be counted as a glitch? That seems really weird. Is it for greater consistancy between runs or better viewing experience? Great work on the run. Was there anything that you think could have gone better (mistakes or collision/AI not wanting to play ball)? Because it looked pretty flawless.
@@kiriusview9251 Cause its not an AI break, thats why i put a video link where i explain how exactly it works, and whats the difference from actual glitches that break boss’ AI. And speaking of timesaves, p1 on princes was awful here unfortunately
I'm pretty sure I spent more than 41 minutes just scratching my arse at the first bonfire. This run is insane. I don't know how you stay so calm. Well done!
for me, Glitchless is the real deal, the planning, the execution, killing each boss that needs to be killed to win the game, the weapon, the combos, the small buffs, each of these minor factors can influence your run, and yet watching one that does everything right is beautiful !
Watching souls games played at such skill is really something, but I'm happy to be among the not so great players, I'd take getting fucked up with finesse over being a PvP god any day lol. Especially when they're using goofy ass weapons..😂
@@tututa534yeah I agree this doesn't feel glitchless. The farron keep jump was already a bit of stretch but the lothric fight was definitely a glitch imo.
@@TheWeen344 @tututa534 its not a "glitch" in the community, the boss just can't see you, but if you hit the older prince or go in the front, it fights back normally
I don't especially seek out speedruns, but its so satisfying to see the bosses get absolutely bodied lol. Shows how much skill goes into these runs. Congrats
Thank you. Anri Straight Sword heals your hp per certain amount of time, but unequipping and equipping it back resets the heal timer so you heal hp faster
I'm thinking about starting to try a no death DS3 run and obviously I want to be as fast as possible while still playing casual, this helps for inspiration for it!
My first challenge run before ive started speedruns was All Bosses Deathless, and i only started to watch speedruns at the same time, so i totally feel you, gl with your run mate :)
Damn literally same situation I am in right now, also started watching Speedruns now. Who knows maybe after all bosses deathless I will try to speedrun aswell :D@@Siegbruh
Awesome run! I'm coming for your title bro I am already at Lothric Castle and I am 180+ hours so far. I took a little time to do some grinding that may shave a few seconds off my overall time but I'm not far behind you!
I've watched quite a few DS speedruns, never noticed that you could use quickstep to negate fall damage. That's pretty cool! Does it also work on Elden Ring (since it's the same engine etc)?
Hi dude thank you so so much for your guide to speedrun this game. I really love this game so bad and I always try to speedrun the game and ended up with 2:10:00s but now I managed to finish the game in 1:19:11 with dying against Pontiff and Lord of Cinder my goal is 1:10:00s I’m playing on the newest patch
@@Warlock_Sack bleed buildup isn’t that fast as the patch that they are playing on and it seems there damage more stronger than the newest patch. It basically 1 min slower that means you can’t the world record (I think) if you’re playing the game on ps5. I don’t care tbh I managed yesterday to finish the game within 10:00:31 the run in my channel
Damn thats a flawless run, im really impressed, I have a question, you chose a female character because of a slightly change of time needed to reach full speed and maybe animations? Ive seen in a video that explained in Ds1 they did something like that, but i dont know if its also a thing in Ds3
Thank you. Here’s the tutorial on how to perform Fall Damage Cancels - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z1eENkFOGYs.htmlsi=1pSDA2Z4uQF1orIN
Sick run! Question, at about 10:30 you phase through the floor, how does this fall into glitchless category (new to speedrunning just enjoy watching the content), are there certain things that are allowed or not considered glitches?
he just rolls down the edges when falling to avoid fall damage it seems,it isnt a glitch the legitimate way is to climb down that ladder, the area just didnt load in.
Amazing run! Question: after placing all the ashes on the thrones, how did u skip showing up in the dark firelink shrine and immediately show up at kiln of the first flame bf?
Not hating at all, the run was great I'm just curious as to why he's allowed to cancel fall damage using quickstep? is that not considered a glitch? could someone educate me I'm just a little confused lol thanks!
Im stuck at the swamp of the ringed city, its a massive skill issue i know but i am trying to stay SL125 for meta at least for the first run. I suppose ive come this far, but i lost interest recently.. gonna force myself to finish this at a respectable level even if it kills me.. even spamming chaos bed vestiges wont help me lol, anyone know of enemies that are great as practice parry dummies?? Not so good with the buckler lmao
What is the point in hitting sulyvahn’s beast on the bridge? Seems like a massive waste of time instead of just running to the fog and dodging his attacks
Sulyvahn Beast dies and you get the ring, its the fastest possible to way to get it, cause it dies from fall damage and you just set up the gravity kill
@@Siegbruh u freeze Twin princes AI in second phase... And bypass the fireless shrine going straight to kiln (that's a wrong warp)... "Glitchless" deez nuts 🤣
@@Tappeto_Volante Its not a wrong warp. If you skip cutscene, appear in Flameless Shrine and use either Dark Sign or Homeward Bone with a choice “To Last Rested” - it will put you automatically to Kiln of the First Flame. And about princes, i said - pinned comment
uhhh, i dont really understand what you mean, its mostly not pointed down. one of the examples where its actually pointed down is right before yhorm, because maidens won't attack you if their not in the fov
