@@volvulusx5043 Yeah, nobody really cares about the difficulty slider in Morrowind. It just turns things into damage sponges. Still, great run, one of my favorite games of all time, and I'm glad to see how popular it remains!

Thanks, yes for the leaderboards it has to be on the original version of the game because openmw is pretty different than vanilla, especially when it comes to the way menus work

@@volvulusx5043 That's what I figured. I prefer OpenMW by a long shot, but with how different it is, even in subtle ways, you couldn't equate the two in speed running.

It's an item that gives 200 speed, the reason should be very clear, I'd think!

Problem with that is there isn't any way to rest after I use levitate.

Well I guess the idea with those runs is to really to see just how quickly that particular objective can be completed. It's an intuitive thing to pursue. Those runs get a lot of views because it's easier to recognize how absurd the concept is based on the title. Just looking at the leaderboards for Elden Ring, the actual Any% category you're talking about is extremely unpopular in terms of the number of runners. So yeah, people don't really like to actually run that category, it's just a silly idea that has been taken to an extreme with game-breaking bugs that aren't used in other runs. I'm sure it's very difficult to do as well, which should be impressive. But if you asked each person who submitted a run for that category, "what is your favorite category to run," I bet none of them would say "Any% Unrestricted." Morrowind Any% is extremely optimized in its' gameplay. That is the interesting/impressive aspect of that run. But yeah, there's other interesting aspects to appreciate in longer runs like this such as the route and certain strategies here and there. I can't really take credit for most of this run's route. It's based on the work of an individual who used their intricate knowledge of various mathematical/problem solving techniques (as well as Morrowind, of course). It's not a duplication, items restocking is a mechanic of the game. I'm just speeding up the process so I don't need to buy them one by one.

@@hushed6160 yeah, the community agrees that it's not a major glitch, it's more interesting and enjoyable to be able to speed up the buying of items that are already infinitely available than to restrict doing it. It would be one thing if the items weren't restocking...

Why's that? The idea of creating a route to complete the set of objectives is naturally appealing. Also, it's a very technical game with its movement and menuing. It's nothing out of the ordinary to Speedrun. I've already played this game normally for hundreds of hours, this is simply a different way of playing that you would only do after playing normally.
