I use seal savers on mine and have never had a problem. Sand, dirt, etc. Not one drip, and I’m constantly riding my WR at the MX track doing jumps (not huge). Thanks for the video. I’ve also never checked my valves. I saw that one of the magazines did a full break down at 100 hours and the valves were still in spec too. You make working on the bike look easy! Nice

That’s great you are having no issues with your seals. What year is your WR? My factory seals started leaking relatively quick. Within the first 1500 miles. After changing them once, the second time will be easier if/when necessary. I would like to see if the Tusk seals last longer.

Rally With Rowley I have a 2015 that I bought gently used, uncorked, and slightly modded back in 2018. I don’t think the previous owner would have blown the seal unless they are weak from the factory. I put tusk seals on a CRF250L that had a leaky seal from a bunch of desert riding. That’s before I knew about seal savers. No, I’m not sponsored by them. Just found your channel. Subscribed!

I've never done fork seals either. But looks like it did a great job. Way to go. And thanks for doing the valve adjustment or valve check that seemed easy now I don't have to worry about it when I need to do it.

It was way easier than I thought it would be. I prepared by watching several RU-vid videos and studying the service manual.

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a Wr250F and wanted to ask what engine oil and valve intervals you use? Are you sticking to the service manual or are you taking it a bit longer? How many miles (km) will such an engine last until the first piston or crankshaft replacement?

If I bought a new 2022 wr250f and rode it very conservatively, could I get away with only changing the oil/cleaning airbox for maintenance?

I’ve checked my valves twice, still in spec, I have not adjusted them yet. I fixed the fork seals because they were leaking and while I had the front wheel off I put some grease in the wheel bearings. The only other maintenance I’ve done is regularly changed the oil/filter and cleaned the air filter. The bike now has over 5,500 miles and is ready for more, lots more.

How do I find that tusk bag? Wish you had walked us through the valve seal replacement just a little bit, or maybe a link to the other videos you watched... Good job doing it yourself 👍
