100% stock pipe has no low down torque at all and the aftermarket muffler has that and more through the whole rev range plus can use more maps with the aftermarket muffler
Is not too underpowered for long and steep climb? I am really interested in wr450 fi, but still want to keep a few years the ec300 just to improve and because is a cheap bike to learn more tehnical stuff on
Daniel McInnes this is the 350xcf and is terrible is the slow technical riding it would lift the front wheel or stall, I’m sure the 350exc would be better in that type of riding but I couldn’t tell you, but compared to mine his hydraulic clutch is twice as heavy and you can feel that extra bit of weight on the 350
Daniel McInnes no problem, cheers! Only thing I would recommend is a after market muffler and put in a different tune if your doing more technical riding
jeff deathrage yeah you hit the nail on the head with that one, the 350xcf does feel a lot heavier, even it’s hydraulic clutch feels heavy and is terrible in the technical stuff just wants to stall or lift the front wheel, better in the open stuff. No doubt the 350exc would be much better in the technical stuff then the xcf though
I’ve been riding a WR250F for a while now and i have to say its one of the best bikes i’ve ridden. Super lightweight, great handling, great suspension (best if set to your sag), super light clutch and throttle not to mention really easy to pop up for wheelies or over logs and rocks.
@@richardsymyniuk6928 2018. Tune is good for slower more technical riding because it’s less likely to stall at low revs with a aftermarket muffler on, the standard is gutless down low
Thanks for answering. I went and rode it and it makes a weird noise when you accelerate and decelerate. Sounds like someone hitting hard plastic together. The cabin was loose and the noise seemed like it was just above the front sprocket. Any ideas if there is anything in that area to check. Thanks
@@josefdallimore5131 no problem, terrible with stock pipe, better with aftermarket muffler, and with the smooth,linear/slippery conditions map it’s very good, unreal for hard enduro
HUNT3R yeah just moving the power so it’s got low down torque for more technical riding and once you take off the restrictions and put a after market muffler on I think their very similar bikes
30 sec show how good the yamaha suspension how he was gaining and the ktm slid out the yamaha was going the same speed if not faster what I'm saying is yamaha is the way to go
