great vid, keepem coming, what part of mass you from? i am from the Attleboro area and have the same bike, maybe we can do some riding together when the weather breaks. Yahooo! and Happy holidays to you and family.
Hey. Thanks for the comment! I'm right outside of Worcester. I'm always up for a ride! Thanks again, and Merry Christmas. All I want for Christmas is to go for a ride!
I have a 08 wr250x and it does not have that coolant reservoir. I am in california and I am not sure if its the CA model or not. Its been hot lately and the bikes fan goes off hard after a good ride in the heat and i just wanted to make sure it was good on coolant and I cant seem to find it.
My '04 has the coolant reservoir mounted underneath the rear fender on the left hand side. It sucks for mx days when landing a jump scrubs my rear tire through the side of the tank, but makes removal and replacement much easier. Maybe yours used to be there and got pulled for convenience / maintainence sake? Glad I could get this comment out in a timely manner. Just 2 years late!
@@hankbenson5037 The WR250R (and X) were not yet made in 2004. The first production year was 2008. You probably have the WR250F, which is a completely different bike, different engine etc.
Mines keep leaking coolant out radiator within 5 minutes of running fan kicks on an everything can you fill radiator to the top because i try to fill it up to the top an it starts pouring it looks empty
I'm no mechanic but it could be a faulty radiator cap. But yes, you are supposed to fill the radiator to the top. Once a certain amount of pressure is reached in the radiator, the cap opens and should flow the expanded fluid to the coolant reservoir.
Thanks ima give it a try it won’t let me fill it to the top it starts leaking like half way out the bottom left corner might have a crack possibly next change radiator love the wr250 videos subbed and bell notification
Jammarules thanks. Everything I've been looking at, it seems to be a very reliable bike. Is there anything in particular that you have had problems with or is it truly that reliable?
