As promised I have done a short video on the build of the WR6002 scarifier and lawn raker. I talk about the simplicity of the build and my thoughts on the quality for the price paid.

I bought the same scarifier towards the end of last summer, what I did find is it was quicker to forget the collection box and rake up the thatch by hand. I tied the back flap so it was slightly open and not clogging the machine. Keep up the good work.

I will have to try this out, I only managed to get a quick pass in before it hammered it down and the weather has been poor since then, thanks for the tip!

Thanks for this as I got this scarifier last yr from Screwfix too & haven’t got it out of the box yet as was in offer at the time think abt £65. At least I’ll know how to assemble it now!! Most ppl don’t bother with the waste box as gets full quickly. Liked n subbed😉👍🏻

Yeah I was really happy with how effective it was, make sure you read the instructions on what setting to use as when this thing gets going it doesn't hold back!

I bought this machine a couple of weeks ago. Its really good, does the job well… 1 other little issue i found though is that the air vent on the side gets blocked up quite quickly

The aerator blade acts more like a rotavator from what I've seen in another video.

Do you mean the raking attachment, I've found it to be useful to keep on top of the thickness of thatch throughout the year instead of a complete renovation

Have you not seen all the bad reviews about it breaking down a year later? That’s why they only offer 1 years guarantee on it and so cheap

When I purchased this it actually had really good reviews at the time. I think the problem might be with the air intake becoming blocked with grass clippings, I'm going to clean it thoroughly each use and see how long It lasts me for, thanks for the heads up though.
