How do you get them reduced to 7”?

Levi’s 527 would be a little wider at the bottom. I do like Wrangler 936 they fit really nicely but they not exactly a boot cut right now after one initial soak and one wash they measure at the bottom hem 8 3/4" so they more like a slim straight. Also Front Rise is very high 12 1/4" even after the wash still 12" which I didn't like. People say they pretty easy to alter from inside seam to make it lower rise. Hope it helps. Totally different cut. the 527's Levi's are low rise, bootcut slim jeans. Bootcut means it was wider or the same hem measurement than the knee. Wrangler 936 is high rise slim, but straight cut jeans. Straight cut by Wrangler is usually slightly smaller hems than knee measurement. For example: knee is 9.25 inch, hem is 8.25 inches. The fact that Wrangler stating that Cowboy Cut jeans fit over boots doesn't means it flare or bootcut- it's straight that have enough room at the hems to fit most cowboy or engineer style boots. IMHO, the only cut that somehow closer to Levi's 527 ( or classic 517 higher rise) is Cowboy Cut Wrangler 945. Those are true bootcut fit.

They didn't shrink at all, after one 40 min.warm water soak (no dryer of course) dimensions as follows: Front rise -12" Across the knee -9" Inseam -31" At the hem -8.5" This is almost identical to my 34X32 501LVC jeans. So don't go Size up just BUY YOUR OWN SIZE and you will be fine. This is my favorite pair right now 13MWZ were to baggy for me....936 is a way to go. They definitely like a second skin not to mention the money :))

@@Klaxet They will shrink about one inch in the waist and 1 inch inseam after a few washes. One soak doesn't set those fibers completely yet.

I usually go 32X32 with Wrangler but with the 936 slim fit I bought the 33X32 and it was perfect. I also had a couple pair of 936 slim fit jeans and had the leg openings reduced to 7” for a less baggy look and they look good.

936 actually similar to Levi's 501 and front rise is even higher in my size 34 it is 12.25" (higher than I wanted to) Also leg opening on 936 are 8.5" it is identical to 501. As far as how many Wrangler styles are 100% cotton I don't know the answer, each stye has a description on their website. Thank you for watching.
