Hello Everyone! I had a fantastic reading month in October. I read a few of my favorite books of the year, if I am being honest. So, of course I cannot wait to tell you all about them. So, I hope you area ready to have your TBR exploded. Come take a look.

"The Nix" is my favorite book! I loved Wellness as well, but I like The Nix even better.

😂 I just got my TBR to under 400. Well guess I'll just have to read more. I've never heard of Sigrid Nunez but I'm hoping my library has!

I love how you dissect and describe the books you talk about! You're really good at highlighting strengths and interesting points from them, it makes me want to read everything lol. Also a big fan of the octopus in the background :)

North Woods will likely be my top November read. I thought it was wonderful. I'm currently reading Let us Descend by Jesmyn Ward which is also very good. Wellness sounds good, I will keep an eye out for that.

I found your channel recently because I read Wellness and wanted to see if anyone else enjoyed it as much as I did. I typically only read science fiction and fantasy, but I saw an article about the book and a few days later I saw it at an airport for 40% off and bought it on a whim. I read the first 60 pages in the plane and was hooked. Your channel is awesome. Keep up the good work!

Welcome! I am glad you loved Wellness, it kind of had a sci-fi feel to it right. Funny enough, I have only been reading fantasy this month, so next month’s wrap up will be Fantasy heavy.

Happy Thanksgiving! So many great books. I’ve had The Nix on my tbr for so long. Need to get to that and Wellness. I really enjoyed Boyfriend Material so I’ve added 10 Things. Always looking for a great audiobook. Do you think One Dark Window would be easy to follow on audio? I sometimes have a hard time following fantasy on audio. I’m able to get through a lot more books by listening.

In October I read The Winter Solider by Daniel Mason I loved it. It was recommended on booktube years ago ( who by I can’t remember). I heard Daniel Mason being interviewed on BBC RADIO4. He’s a psychiatrist as well as a great writer. I want to read everything he’s written now. ☘️👋🍀📖📚🇮🇪☕️📕
