Everyone's talking about the Malcolm X samples, but was anyone else blown away when they first got to this part when they were kids and heard an honest-to-god CHOIR in a Sonic game back in the days before Colours?
You know to me this song was always super creepy to me despite Malcom x sampled for the song. It always sounded so "end of the universe and its entirety" to me. I mean even thought the boss wasn't very menacing itself it was just so slow and not as intense as most of the other tracks in the game, it just gave me such an uneasy feeling fighting the egg salamander like this thing was about to transform into something crazy alas it didn't but it still made me uneasy none the less
Gamerlise25 Mokuzai prolly aliens or something, honestly with everything going on I wouldn't be surprised to see a a Terminator attack or alien invasion
Eggman Nega is a heartless monster. It is implied that he reached out to Eggman first for this plan to work. Considering how he hates his dopplegänger, he was most likely manipulating him that entire time. If Sonic and Blaze lost, Nega's manipulation over Eggman would've been successful, and he most likely would betray him later and completely destroy everything with his newfound power. His soul is, in fact, wrapped in black.
Blaze: Have you tried this coffie? Sonic: Too black Blaze: How about Wilkins Coffie? Sonic: Too strong Blaze: *Shots fire* Not strong enough Update: Holy cow over 200 likes 0_0 Thanks, guys!
I legitimately thought the Lyrics always said "Too Late, Too Strong" in reference to running out of time in an Act or because a Boss was "too strong" since it's also the Game Over theme,
"(Its) too black, which means it is too strong" comes from a speech back in the 60's from "Malcolm X." ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d-tuy6kI8q8.html First 10 seconds of the video he say the line. Why did Sega use his voice? It's beyond me.
I need this after Brawl's channel got terminated. Thank you. Edit: I've never noticed how many likes this got. This has got to be one of my biggest likes I've ever gotten. Thanks y'all.
It’s pretty funny when you think about it. When you first hear that it’s from a Malcolm X speech, you instantly think it probably refers to race, but upon looking it up, you realize that he was literally talking about coffee. But even then, he was still making a point about race through an analogy to coffee, so in the end, it did kind of refer to both.
That just isn’t what it’s about though. These are random samples used by the composers, none of these songs really have any meaning when you think about the levels they come from
I remembered this game's soundtrack being amazing but I forgot HOW good it is. It's god-tier. Wrapped in Black, Bomber Barbara, Deadline, Jeh Jeh Rocket, Back 2 Back, good lord this soundtrack is fire. The sequel was nowhere near as good (outside of Sky Babylon theme which is great), I wish they brought back the same composer.
@@knucklesfieryheart20 There was another channel that got terminated over legal issues. He also uploaded the song and the comment section was filled with jokes about racism and coffee because of the line in the song "to black".
"Wrapped in white (too white), wrapped in white(too weak), Wrapped in white (too white), wrapped in white(too weak), " -Blaze Dash, Final Boss Part 1, probably
At first, I thought they were saying, "The brave... The strong... The brave... The strong..." Then I transcribed it as, "The Blaze... The strong..." in reference to Blaze herself. Thought it was bad punwork or something.
i remember stealing my sister’s 3DS when she fell asleep to play sonic rush when i was like 4. i think i got stuck here but didn’t mind because i loved the music.
YESSSSS, my dude! I can get behind that. You KNOW if someone drop this as club mix on Tiktok, it would HIT. And then everybody gonna wanna be black more than they already do. 🤣
Left Headphone:Too Black Right Headphone:Too Strong And Left Headphone:Wrapped in black in black in black wrapped in black Right Headphone:Wrapped in black.
people making fun of the lyric makes me wonder how many of you realize that Hediki Nagumura Sampled MLK for the words "Too Black Too Strong" just outa curosity feel like people should know this to appreciate this song even more.....
Song aside, I had to revisit this theme because of the egg salamander getting mentioned in the latest takeover… and I can see why, this things a powerhouse. being able to actually harm super and burning users if you look at its wiki and by a lore perceptive. Not only that, it can create spatial rips which is just so flipping cool, sure it won’t compare to what any god in sonic has done, but the egg salamander along with the egg wizards were two of the most powerful mechs in his arsenal. Two bad eggs can create a goddman good omelette.
If you go in your device's "Audio", "Sound", or "Accessibility" settings, you can turn the audio setting from "Stereo" audio output to "Mono" audio output. The sound quality will be a bit lower quality, but you'll be able to hear the whole song without having to worry about missing certain instruments/lyrics. Although, I assume you have a new pair of earphones by now.
Koen-112 there might be a way for you to switch your device to mono audio. That way, you won’t miss any sounds that would’ve normally come out of only the speaker that isn’t working. Or you could just put in headphones
Koen-112 Are you on your phone? You can look up how to switch your device’s audio setting to mono. That way, you’ll only need one headphone to hear all the sounds
