For the second day of the 2024 Rally of Monte-Carlo my friends ‪@Italiansupercarvideo‬, ‪@NM2255‬ and I decided to record the Champcella - Saint-Clément-sur-Durance special stage (which was the one used for SS4 and SS7). Enjoy this video with lots of maximum attack and flatout moments!

Thanks a lot! Yeah it was just a first test with the radar gun. I had purchased it a few years ago for another 'purpose' (another motorsport discipline) but still had to use it during a rally because you need another person who physically holds and points it towards the cars. I tried fixing it on the tripod but I didn't manage to properly find the right perpendicular position, so it had a hard time detecting speeds.. Nevermind! I'll give it another try in the future

Rally 2 must be allowed to be lighter than Rally 1, oterwise it doesn't make sense since they're underpowered already. I remember the rivalry of kitkar vs WRC on tarmac, that was a true gamble who would win.

@@installshieldwizard3017no es bueno que categorías inferiores se equiparen a la máxima categoría como el rally 1. Que los kit car en su momento "una categoria inferior" a los wrc se igualaran en asfalto a los wrc , no fue para nada prestigioso para el wrc en su momento. No es nada prestigioso para la maxima categoría.

У младшего класса должны быть те или иные преимущества, особенно если он моноприводный, иначе какой тогда смысл за ним наблюдать, если он во всем отстает? s1600 был по этой же причине намного круче чем нынешние R2, потому что могли навязать серьезную борьбу машинам из N4.

Suonano tutte allo stesso modo, non riesco a farmele piacere. Anche l'aspetto è molto simile, si fatica a distinguerle. Sembra di guardare un monomarca, proprio come con la Formula 1 moderna. I più giovani forse non ci fanno caso, ma se uno è cresciuto guardando le gruppo A, o le Kit car, non può non rimpiangerle. Si capiva che macchina era prima ancora di vederla. Poi a guardarle veniva la bava alla bocca.

Hi bozy, i have one more question. What is the difference between the Canon dm-100 mic and the Canon dm-e100 mic?

I've never tried the DM-E100 mic (nor the DM-E1) but basically the main difference is that the DM-E100 is a 'universal' microphone which requires a jack 3.5mm input to work and can be mounted on any camcorder hot shoe, while the DM-100 can only be plugged into Canon's advanced shoe. I'd suggest you the DM-100 because with that connection the camcorder manages really well the microphone and basically doesn't have any background hiss, while a more typical jack 3.5mm connection could add some background noise in the most silent recordings. Spec-wise the DM-100 should have a wider frequency range than the DM-E100 and it also allows you to switch from mono (shotgun) to stereo recording (with a 90° or 120° angle). Probably the exact jack 3.5mm counterpart of the DM-100 is the Canon DM-E1

@@Stef-Records Said in a very simple, but not a properly accurate way, with a stereo microphone you can better feel the separation between left and right channels so when you listen to a video with headphones you can understand if a sound is coming from your left or your right. You hear this better from static shots like the one at the beginning of this video: the car is coming from the right of that shots and so you hear it louder on your right speaker/right side of your headset/earphones. In mono you will always hear the sound you record both on your left and right speakers, etc. but it's like the car (i.e. the sound) is passing in the middle
