From what I've gathered, it's a K right (as in the letter K) rather than key, and its is used to describe a corner which is similar to that of the right hand side of a letter K, meaning the corner could be taken between about 2nd/4th gear depending on the surroundings.
@bladerunner6 Chris Patterson has been Solberg's co-driver since Rally Bulgaria. He's very experienced, and was Nasser Al-Attiyah's navigator in PWRC. Mills retired to concentrate on his business.

@nolanbowling I think K is used for Kink, which wouldn't quite be described properly is called a 4 or 6 corner. I think a lot of co-drivers use "Square Right" for 90 degree bends. At least I think that's what it is :P. Great video!
"K right" is tighter than a square/90 corner, but not as tight as a hairpin. The name comes from the shape of the letter. But yeah Phil is saying "keep right/left" (and "keep in" as well, presumably stay to the side of the road you're on).
I was there too :) but I'm not finish and I don't understand a word of Hirvonens onboard:( Anyway, worth to mention that pace notes are made by driver during the recce, so what co-driver reads during the event is what he wrote down when driver dictated to him. So it may be just the way Mikko is doing his pacenotes. But as I said I don't understad a word in finish...
So then you do think so... I've always used a pacenote system similar to Colin McRae's. A K corner is typically taken in 2nd gear, where a K - is taken in 1st.
@SCUDERIA031 actually it will probably last forever since after that rally they added 3 chicanes to slow the speed down and then dropped it all together from rally finland.
Brilliant! Laughed when at approximatley 6min 22 secs they come out of a left hand hairpin and Phill Mills says 'it gets faster now'!!! What was the last 6 mins 22 secs then???
Well in all honesty, Colin's old record was done in a much slower car. Also, he was not being scored for points, so he was able to push much harder than usual.
Well no more Phil Mills as of recently. He decided to quit this year and Petter has chosen Chris Patterson to replace him, and he is pretty experienced though.
I dont think so..altough I don know,what K right means,I think it is now 90 degree corner,according to a pacenote system of Richard Burns,who had been using 90 right/left as well as K right/left
Considering his performance lately, that might not be someone your going to have to root for anymore. I always liked Peter but something is going on there and he's ether going to have to overcome it of move on down the long line of drivers.
Yes and Prodrive maybe lose it`s running of the Subaru Team if they don`t improve . I think that is what Subaru needs , some new fresh blood in their company .
" It gets faster now" Ha Ha, I'm going to get a T shirt made with those words on it. Rallying makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end, Mexico, WHAT A RESULT, Rally on boys
