Wreck Fishing for Fluke Limit, New Fluking Setup Review!!

We get our last shot at the 2021 New Jersey Fluke Season.
At a brand new wreck we put together our limit. I honestly thought there would be bigger fish there but I have zero complaints.
I just love this method of catching fluke!!!
I also review my new combo. Details in the video!!

I'm from PA, fish in NJ on the wrecks. I always seem to come down when the water is way rougher than you have it in this video. Friends get chumming the water LOL. Looks like you had a fun day!!

My last year in jersey I figured out the wreck and like you said boat position is everything I got a 1 man crew and when we take outsiders they don't understand why we move so much but you have to be RIGHT IN IT!

During the winter I practice flip casting in the basement with the cat. Great way to to test rod sensitivity. ☺

A guy I work with caught Taug down the shore this past weekend. Are there seasons for that fish? Also, he called it a northern grouper. Ever hear that?

Right now it's only a one fish per man thing I believe. I sometimes catch and release them this time of year up on the sod banks. Mid November it goes up to 5 fish per man and the fishing out on the wrecks heats up. That's when we harvest a few. I have heard them called that but not often.

I wish Cole. Not only is it well over 100 miles from my inlet, but our engine room is still torn apart!!! I'll be getting a slip in Barnegat Light hopefully so I'll be up that way if the Northern grounds stay good and for stripers.
