me personally i lov wat u did here. alot of people dont understand, its called Wreck this Journalfor a reason . da point is u hav fun n do wat u wanna do in ur own way. i love all da color n da ideas. especially da page with da rubberbands. thank u so much for sharing. u hav surely inspired me. :)
The whole point of the book is to inspire and help with any sort of creative block. It's supposed to inspire creativity. I would say this person was inspired! How you get inspired to interpret the instructions is an individual thing. I would say this person did EXACTLY what the author wanted them to do. :)
I just got mine today and can't wait until it looks like yours :). I think for the shower, I will do that last and tape the pages over in duct tape or plastic wrap :O
Oh my gosh! Amazing job well done! I suck at getting anything done in my book because I WANT IT to be perfect. I am messy in real life but getting messy in a book is so hard. :$
I think this is amazing, people are so sad commenting saying its rubbish, its your own journal to do what you want with, thats the point, get over it and if your that bothered do one yourself..
The point is to wreck the journal, yes. But it really says alot about the person, how they wreck it, everybodies way is different. She didnt follow all the directions, but thats what makes hers unique.
@kerryn12312 The whole point of a wreck this journal is to wreck it in your own way. You can take the instructions however you want. Just because it says chew doesn't necessarily mean physically chew. Don't judge her art just because she bent the rules.
The point of the book was to open up your creativity. If your following all the rules in the book, you are completley missing the point she was trying to make. Stop being a sheep!! I love this journal :) You must be a very interesting person.
Oh my! That book is barely aliiiiiiive! And... oh! Nederlands? Natuurlijk! Laura Jansen. Juist! Ik krijg hier ook weer zin van om iets met m'n WTJ te doen! Alleen is die nogal vol. Ik krijg ook zin om een Moleskine te kopen en daar een art journal van te maken. Ik bedoel... Ik mag geen Moleskines meer kopen van mezelf om in te schrijven. Maar om in te tekenen of zo toch weer wel?! =D
the way i see it, the point of the book is to teach you how to create beauty with destruction (it even says so)....but your point is spot on other than that....

Leuk, heel leuk, zo te zien ben je met het boek onder de douche geweest! Heb je trouwens op elke pagina plakband ofzoiets gedaan want het is zo glimmend?!?!
The first thing the book say is the rules, rule 4 is instructions are open to interpretation, this is how she interprets them. Get over it! Stop the hateing.
Is it the lighting or does your book have a mod 70s look to it? How did you get it to be so flourescent? I am in love with it. Also, where did you find most of your images and if through a magazine, which ones. Thanks so much for the inspiration. Now i have to get me one. :)
