I've never really liked racing games but I had hours into this one.

Never understood why this didn’t get a larger player base. It’s a ton of fun.

The driving dynamics is just awsome, honestly feels like a real racing game and not like nfs or anything like that

You may not be old enough to remember but in 1996 Ubisoft - Reflections released Destruction Derby 2 it was amazing if you ever get the chance to go back and play it you should :)

The only problem I have with this game is that the AI isn't trying to win, but is trying to make you lose, which is very different. Don't get me wrong, I love that the AI is a lot on the offense, it makes for great intense races, especially combined with the physics of the game. But sometimes when you're side by side with an AI, in a straight line, without any obstacles whatsoever, the AI will just completely ram you off the road unexpectedely, ruining your race and theirs. Besides that the game is 9/10 for me, great game, lots of fun.

This is a game that was made for multiplayer. Nothing is more fun than having all your friends in the same voice chat taunting each other throughout the races. There are 2 track mods that really stand out; The Very Track Pack 1 and The Very Track Pack 2.

Wreckfest is my top racing gem game in my steam library. I dont like games where you ONLY drive clean sport cars. I hate them most. Before buying Wreckfest i wrecked npc cars in gta online driving duke o death.

You can't brake and turn simultaneously which basically ruins the whole game.

Nowadays I spend stupid amounts of time on BeanNG, I think it's overall physicals are more realistic then Wreckfest. However my sister and I still play Wreckfest together, as it's just so much fun. It really takes us back to the days of Flatout and Flatout 2. I really genuinely loved Flatout 2 specifically.

I'm going for 100 percent on this. I really wish I wasn't because I don't want to play it anymore. I would give this a generous 3 out of 5. It's not that great. Hardly any high speed tracks, simcade handling that doesn't feel to good and other issues that hold it back.

If you have the ability play it with the PSVR headset on with the screen size at max in cockpit view, a Logitech wheel, gear, pedal set up and this game goes BEYOND the beyond in fun and immersion.

This game has soul, it knows what it is and who's for. Since burnout will likely never come back, wreckfest is the best old school racing game around.

If it weren't for Burnout 3: Takedown, this would be the best racing game I've ever played. As it stands, it's definitely one of my favorite games of all-time. Almost plays like a puzzle game if you have it on the highest difficulty and you've gotta destroy every other vehicle. We need more destruction-based, vehicular mayhem games such as this.

One correction for the video: There ARE real life vehcles with one wheel in the front. Reliant made a lot of three-wheeled cars for the UK market until late 1980s, and their most famous usage is the blue Reliant Regal in several Mr. Bean episodes, and the red Reliant Robin that Jeremy drove in Top Gear.

30fps on PS4 and 60fps on PS5. Game's so much fun I bought it twice! The three wheeled vehicle is actually based on the Robin Reliant an actual three wheeled vehicle.

Multiplayer is great too, but there's a lot of trolling, obviously, it's part of the game. I do prefer regular races over the destruction derbies. Just bombing around a track, vanilla racing. Weird, I know.

Game is fun with friends. The handling is absolute trash to me.

Only thing that could make this the perfect console racing game is the PC mods, especially the NASCAR ones.

Only if the players would nut up and run some B class servers. C class is a bunch of clowns. A class is unlimited. B class is where the meat of the game is and its ignored.

i bought into this game prety early on. before it was on steam i think. i know i had to go to their website to buy into it. that said. i personaly was disapointed at how it Finaly..... finished. when i got it they said 6 months to a year. 5+ years later they finally said it was done. and it was still a shell of the game promised. the season stuff just really fells empty.... Dirt track Racing by RatBag. i was expecting dirt track racing similar to that. but with the bugbear destruction tracks and collision. instead we get this arcade game. its not a bad game. but it just not what i had personalyl bought into. that said i agree with the video. i feel its under rated. and i think because of its era, early access games didnt do well back then. unlike now. ea games can do better. but still we are in a world lots of games put up every day...... and ofc the now complex of people the cars, driving, tracks, ofc destruction is all real fun and great yes. but i was lookin forward to a progression system or racing sadly that just isnt really there. i mean u can but its done poorly. dont get me wrong. if u have few friends the online racing last i played is still very active and fun. plenty of good mahem to go around. and if ur single player like me. well imo not a lot to do.

Reliant Supervan is not too bad after you learn turning on 2 wheels with locked differential, you can turn tight turns like that. Still, I wouldn't use it outside challenge levels.

Have this for xbox, pc(play on steam deck) and Nintendo switch. Plays well on all. Switch has smaller field of cars per race. Xbox has full 24, but no dust/dirt build up on cars. Best go to game ever. Have followed the arcade series by bugbear and this title is the best wreck racing by far IMO.

Looks a bit bland and samey to me which leads to boredom. Could be better if a sequel had more varied tracks, more detailed damage, obstacles and other environmental effects that you can interact with and use to your advantage as well as as unique weapons and damage mods for individual cars. 🤷

As someone who grew up playing Stunt Car Racer on the Amiga 500, this game ticks all the right boxes. They really knocked the ball out the park with this title. I'm nearly 50, but this game makes me feel like I'm 14 years old all over again!

Finnish guys make great games especially on the driving topic, but the country is lacking money overall so its a rare occasion to get something to the game market. There's a pattern that they repeat where they try to make the game as good and fun as possible with also the smaller details, and then they leave a couple hints about Finland to the game. This game has many of them. One of the tracks is a replica of a Finnish track from the Jokkis racing series which the game's racing type is originally based on

on a 2060 i can run this at 4k 60 on high no problem. that's amazing to me it works really well with a wheel, which i wasn't expecting. also wasn't expecting the physics to be so good. i was expecting more of a loose arcade racer. i play a ton of sim racers, so i'm not saying this is realistic, but the cars are planted, have a lot of grip, weight transfer effects your handling. sliding/drifting is intuitive. force feedback is solid. it's just a really... really good game. they didn't cut any corners and ensured everything works perfectly how can they do this but ea, blizzard, ubisoft, bethesda, activision etc are incapable with all of their resources? this dev team is the shit

Did anyone have problems running this game? It ran poorly on my pc despite my computer having more than enough performance to cover it. I couldnt find a fix for it so gave up trying..

2:09 - beammNG is NOT just car destruction simulator.. that's a misconception based on tons of cheap, repeated crash content and how it was marketed in the early days. BeamNG is a full on vehicle simulator sandbox that simulates nearly every aspect of a vehicle.

I bought this for my son ( 11 years old ) with the Logitech G29 steering wheel set and it is sooo much fun. He freakin' loves it !

Im playin both beamng and wreckfest and ur wrong about something. Beamng and wreckfest are not even close to eachother in case of car physics. Beamng is the best car simulation its just like a real car because it simulates all the systems. Wreckfest is just a game not a simulation crashes dont effect cars systems car behaviours are arcade n stuff.
