It's crazy how many litigants we've seen on here that don't have jobs, don't work, don't pay rent, yet have the nerve to try to sue someone.

I feel bad for Victoria and her family because all the problems stem from her girlfriend. The way Victoria acted afraid to say anything makes me wonder if the girlfriend is physically abusive and threatened her before they came to court. I’m taken back at how bold she was to literally take them to court, and blame THEM for her poor decisions. She obviously had no game plan, and was too comfortable being a freeloader. Receiving help is fine until you decide not to improve within that time frame. The girlfriend is hurt. I hope she left her ass alone!

I knew a cagey old landlord who was so disgusted with the housing court when he would have tenants who would start squatting he would send his maintenance guys over to remove the front doors for "repair". Most of the squatters would move pretty quickly after that. He was a really fair guy and as long as someone tried to do him right he would always work with them but there were always those people who would take advantage of the laws and squat for months or longer.

I just re-watched this and I have questions. 1. Where was the girlfriend staying when she left her belongings behind? 2. Why didn't she take it with her? 3. What made her think that she could continue to live in her girlfriend's family's property without her? 4. Why didn't she go to Texas with her girlfriend? 5. Why are they still homeless after all this time? 6. Why has she lived in several different shelters since she left the family's property? 7. Are they living in an apartment now?

Would you want your daughter to be with an individual that thinks their blabbering is more important that the tears their partner is shedding? This is the co-plaintiffs family, Curt was directing his questions at her. The family has likely put Victoria in a situation where she is having to choose, which is never ideal (Been there done that 36+ years ago, made the right decision!) but in some cases it is necessary to force the child to examine the relationship with their partner.
